Great Family friendly
our stay was very comfortable. and the staff were very friendly... friendly and understanding staff is the key to making the guest stay pleasurable. The rooms were also very nice and spacious the layout was good and convenient. The event we were their for went well.

quiet and friendly staff
The holiday inn was very nice and comfortable. The pool area looked larger on the computer than it really is. I was a little disappointed. The room was very nice, but the bathroom shower had a slow stream of water that it was hard to wash my hair. I porbably would not stay there again for that reason. Didn't feel refreshed after a shower. Barely got wet, I think they are conserving water, but they really need to look into that. I think that is a big minus. Other than that it was a nice place to stay. Our son leaves in Ames so will be checking other hotels in the future.

Great Weekend
Very nice and clean hotel. Spent the Weekend there for Iowa State's homecoming, and it was a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was very nice and comfortable. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice hotel with great location.

close to campus
We were going to ISU in Ames the hotel is close to the campus, it is away from the city. The city is a easy drive if you want to get to Ames.
