The Wailuku Guesthouse was great. When we arrived there was fresh banana bread waiting in our room for us. It was DELICIOUS! Maureen the host, was welcoming and was the perfect source of great information and useful tips. She had great
suggestions from the off the beaten track of restaurants to great hikes on the island. Our room was not huge but the king bed was very comfortable. The room had everything we needed including a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was spotless and even had a hairdryer. The common area was centered around the big saltwater pool. It was a great place to unwind after a long day at the beach. They had cabanas with dining tables, a gas BBQ, lots of pool toys, lounging around chairs and an aviary with beautiful macaws too. One last cool thing was all the little things they had supplied to make our stay more fun like beach chairs, ice-chests, beach umbrellas, beach towels and a plethora of snorkel gear. We got a great price and had a GREAT stay; we will be back. Bonnie
