Locally owned low-rise hotel in Kahului offers easy transit point
A value-priced, locally-owned hotel adjacent to Kahului Harbor and Maui's main airport, the Maui Seaside Hotel is perfect for visitors connecting to a cruise ship, stopping overnight on Maui or just seeking a central base for exploring the island. The popular destinations of Iao Needle, Hookipa Beach and Paia are each a 20-minute drive away. A good place to stay

Overall the place was nice. pros: It is close to the airport, clean. cons: far from the center and beach. Since we rented a car, it was not that challenging to get to the places we needed, such as the Hana road. But if u are thinking of staying there without a car, it might be a bad idea.

Very bad room

The room was very bad, made noises at night, making it hard to sleep. Would not recommend.

It was an OK room to stay for a short time

DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!!!

Two stays here in the last 10 days. Small amount of clothing missing the first stay. Second stay all belongings and money and license stolen from pool. Police reports filed but staff no help at all. Was told by other guests that the criminals are regulars here. Stay at the name brand hotel by the airport. Much safer and there won't be bums sleeping on the property like what happens here.

Good price

Quick Overnight

This hotel is perfect for quicky overnight or catching the airport or cruise ship early. Very old, very dingy in the middle of town. Staff is the greatest tho! Full of aloha spirit and accommodating.

great budget wise for conventions

The rooms were clean and afordable. The only problem I had was we stayed in the back and the gate closed at 8:00 so the walk was kind or tiring especially when we were coming back from the stores. other than this the staff was friendly and the location is good.

Blood Stain on the Sheet

Stayed 3 nights. First night in room wth rattleing A/C. Left to stay in other parts of island. Came back and found a blood stain on my sheet. Told the lady at the desk. She said, "I don't know what to tell you." Other than that, it was adequate.

fair value

Staff always helpful and friendly. Older but clean. My room was a bit of a hike from the lobby which was surprising given the fact that there was lot's of empty rooms. Overall fair value.
