Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon (delayed as we got married at the beginning of the year). We were looking for a relaxing hotel with amenities so we didn't have to stray far from the hotel if we didn't want to. While we ended up driving around the whole island, we definitely enjoyed our time spent here. Beautiful facilities (even with Ko being under construction) and a relaxing environment even with plenty of families around. Easy access to polo beach (and we got free use of umbrellas, chairs, etc. because of the construction). We enjoyed half off drinks during happy hour in the Luana Lounge, with some sort of entertainment in the background as we sipped on drinks and enjoyed the sunset. The only thing that was annoying about being here during renovation was that there was only one functioning elevator on our end of the hotel. Would definitely recommend coming here for couples, families, etc.

Totally worth it!!

This place would have gotten 4.5 stars if I could figure out how to do it. Even though construction was going on, we didn't even notice. The inter hotel shuttle was fantastic. The staff was amazing and the room was quite clean and bed totally comfortable. Great restaurants all around as well. Pools have slides that are fun for kids as well as a separate adult pool. Had a great time and can't wait to go back!

wonderful relaxing getaway for our 40th wedding anniversary

Beautiful location and views of Molokini and neighboring islands.Very attentive service staff from arrival to departure. They go the' extra mile ' every day. The lounge entertainment was OK and I would have truly enjoyed it if they had done some Hawaiian style songs. The KO restaurant, tauted as their signature restaurant , is being remodeled and has a different location at present. We were not impressed with the food or service, but everyone has the Aloha spirit.

First Time Visit to Maui

We loved the Fairmont Kea Lani. They have a great staff especially the valet and reception staff. We were very impressed by the welcoming committee. Every guest checking in gets a free lei and juice beverage upon arrival. Our bell boy was awesome and provided us great information on where the locals eat. We had a partial ocean view suite with 2 double-beds on the east side of the building facing the property next door, which made it quiet. The room was very clean, and spacious for 4 people. It had 3 closets for space and big restroom with tub and shower. The living room closes off from the bedroom which was great. The balcony has a lounge chair and a seperate table with 4 chairs. There's a microwave, coffee maker and small refrigerator. The room has A/C and both bedroom and living room have door access to the balcony. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was awesome with many selections and an omelet station. The pools are open 24 hours a day allowing you to swim any tim, not all hotel pools have these hours. They do not use chlorine to clean the pool but instead they use a more earth-friendly method. I loved it because my hair didn't stink after the pool. The hotel offers the first night of valet parking free and a complimentary canoe experience. This hotel is next door to the Four Seasons and Grand Wailea Hotel and offers top notch service. You couldn't ask for a better location and I hope that I can return soon. The main restaurant Ko is being renovated but we experienced no problem from it. They were also updating the lobby and corridor furniture when we left. Another thing I loved about this hotel is that they have a free washer and dryer on each floor so we went home with clean clothes. Lastly its 30 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes from Lahaina.

Maui

I was here 5 nights for my honeymoon. The staff is VERY friendly!! Very nice hotel. We probably won't stay again because it's super expensive, for a burger and chips its $25 bucks! The only reason we were able to stay this time was because they were doing maitnence work on part of the hotel so we got are room for half off. Other than it not being a cheap place to room or eat, it's a awesome location! Ohhh and if u want a king size bed, they make u jump through hoops to get one so make sure u email them ahead of time!!

Beautiful resort with terrific staff

We stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani during renovations of their Ko restaurant. Deeply discounted room rates, half price appetizers & drinks during happy hour, and complimentary beach umbrellas & chairs during this renovation were such a value for a luxurious all-suite resort. Sunsets every night viewed from the lounge were great and the ambience was very relaxing. The appetizers we had were generous portions. We ordered 2 or 3 of those almost every night and that satisfied us for dinner... saved a lot! The wet bar in our suite included a small fridge and microwave, so we purchased some groceries at the local Safeway and had breakfast on the lanai and sandwiches for lunch most days. More savings. The suites are very spacious, including the largest bathroom I've seen in a resort/hotel! The pools are beautiful. Staff very customer service oriented. We have visited Maui 7 times, and I wish we could stay at the Kea Lani every visit!

Luxurious retreat

Hotel was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were spacious (all of them are suites) and clean and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've experienced at a hotel. The grounds of the hotel were immaculate. We took advantage of the renovation rates and were not disturbed by construction in the least. However, we spent most of our time sightseeing on Maui so were mainly only at the resort to sleep, along with a little beach time there, so cannot comment on the restaurants, amenities, or resort services.

Highly Recommend

This was our second time staying at the Kea Lani. Our frist trip was for our honeymoon and it was amazing. This time I traveled late summer with my husband, toddler, and infant and we had an excellent time. The service and amenities were top notch. The hotel provided me with a pack n play, a crib, rocking chair, changing station and even baby proofed the room. When we were out by the pool they even offered to set up a pack n play. The grounds are gorgeous. The rooms are huge and have a microwave and fridge which are extremely convienent. The staff is extrememly helpful and the service was what I would expect. Whether you are traveling with a family or a romantic getaway the Kea Lani is an wonderful resort to stay at.
