The monorail was really too much

I expected a normal hotel on the ocean, for just one night not far from the airport. I didn't read carefully, but it's a monstrosity theme park type place that removes you from even being on the island and makes you wait for trains... which is exactly what I was trying to get away from on vacation.

Stress relief

Everything was wonderful. The views, things to do on site The food on site however, was more expensive than it should have been compared to the quality of the food . We ate at the pizza place for our first dinner. While the crust was good, and the view was amazing, it was your typical Pizza Hut. We also had the buffet breakfast overlooking the saltwater lagoon. $60 for two (which included discount), way over priced for a Denny's meal. The only complaints I have are in regards to the saltwater lagoon. Though I am not a marine biologist, in my opinion the Dolphin Lagoon was way too small for 7 dolphin's and kids under 12 should have to be accompanied by an adult while in the water.

Why leave the resort when it has everything you could possibly need!?

This is the perfect place to escape to. Wide selection of food from Japanese, Italian, American... I enjoyed eating breakfast at this cereal cafe along the lagoon. The grounds are beautifully decorated and have hammocks along the path. There is so much exploring to do along with daily activities / entertainment - you will not get bored.

Awesome vacation!

I have been visiting this hotel for the last 10 years and they consistently have never let me down. The staff is wonderful and always friendly. My favorites are Andrew who works as operator of the trams and boats and Desiree who works as hostess at Breakfast. Keep up the great work.

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway

Everything about the hotel, including the staff, the food and the activities was wonderful. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was always clean and made comfortable for us each day and the room's view was remarkable!

Very enjoyable

Every aspect of this place is pretty great, with only a couple shortcomings: there are certain restaurants where they're definitely understaffed and service was a tad slow, but it wasn't horrible. Also, the resort markets itself as very kid-friendly, which it is, but the Club Kei Kei experience--where we really counted on sending the kids during the day so we could go do other things--was very disappointing. It's basically one drab room with some run-down toys and one 'babysitter.' It made us think twice about wanting to drop our kids off there. Overall, though, there are plenty of other things for the kids to do around the resort. But the Club Kei Kei camp stuff we opted out of.
