Great Resort
The Grand Hyatt Kauai was a suberb luxury hotel. The pools and grounds were absolutely beautiful and very well-maintained. The staff at the hotel was extremely friendly - we ate at the breakfast buffet at the hotel every morning which was delicious and the wait staff welcomed us by name every morning. The restaurants at the hotel, although very expensive (like every restaurant in Poipu), were outstanding. We will definitely return to this hotel when we plan our next visit to Kauai!

Exceptional Property - the nicest we've stayed at yet!
Whoever did the space planning for the facility gets top awards. We loved every inch of the facility with its beautiful views, exceptional landscaping, amazing pool and lagoon area, and overall wonderful vacation spot. When we arrived I was so happy we had chosed this hotel - we absolutely loved the pool area - they have an upper and lower pool, and all areas are intertwined with waterfalls, bridges, landscaping, waterslide, jacuzzi's, and more - you don't feel like you are at a big pool because there are so many areas to choose from for seating - but the pool itself interconnects so you can paddle around to different areas which keeps it interesting.

Beautiful hotel
Outstanding views and huge, beautiful pools (fresh water pool and salt water lagoon). Great breakfast buffet and dinner options. Rooms were neat and clean. Spa was beautiful but pricey. Would go back in a heartbeat!

1. Tide pools in Grand Hyatt was romantic 2. The Beach House restaurant had great sunset views (reserve a seat by the ocean), but food was O.K. and was expensive. 4. Roy's seafood restaurant was expensive and food wasn't that good. 3. Visit the old town of Koloa. Good small restaurant in town and a great ice cream store at Lapperts.

Great Customer Service
Every employee at the Grand Hyatt, from the cleaning staff to the front desk personnel, was friendly, helpful, and professional. WE were amazed at the customer service. We have never been pampered like that before.

"Beautiful resort"
Our wonderful getaway to the Grand Hyatt will be the first trip of many hopefully to Kauai. The front desk staff were truly amazing and very personable.We had a late arrival and were upgraded to an ocean view room. We enjoyed the location of the Shipwreck Building as it was close to the pools. But the resort is so spectacular it was enjoyable to wander the property. We had heard so many reports of the prices being outrageous on the property but we found going out to dinner we ordered appetizers or Puu Puu's and it seemed to do us fine and not too pricey. We attended the Lu'au at the Hyatt and it was a wonderful evening. Nice not to have to drive back to the hotel after enjoying our cocktails. The hotel was very quiet and provided the perfect vacation for us. We were sad to leave but hope to return soon. The Thomson's from Canada.

Recharge and Relax
The concierge gave exceptional service. The hotel staff were all kind and helpful. The grounds were beautiful, lush and well maintained. The location was perfect. We were close to alot of attractions. When we were at the resort it was peaceful and secluded. The spa and gym were a good way to start our day. The golf course was world class with amazing views.

Luxury and fun!
The grounds are beautiful and enormous. There is something for everyone, beach, lazy river, pool, jacuzzi, water slide. People of all ages could find a place to relax and enjoy the beauty. Staff was great, changed our extra room to include 2 beds so our kids didn't have to share even though we were already in the original room. Only complaint, internet should be free.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were incredible. They were very pleasant and accomidating. Food was good, a little pricey but good. All-in-all no complaints!
