Nice Honeymoon
Great location. I drove the whole island and my wife and I would stand by that it is the best beach on Maui. The view is great, water is clear for snorkeling, even big sea turtles came shallow and swam around with us! All types of stores near by if you want to buy food instead of going out all the time (saves some $ too!).

Money-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
Go to the local Safeway grocery store and spend the 30 seconds to sign up for a Safeway club card. It will save you a ton of $$ if you want to get food from there.

Anniversary Celebration Plus!
My husband and I celebrated our10th anniversary and my one year anniversary from chemotherapy. We loved this location. A close friend that stayed in 2009 recommended this Sheraton. We are so glad we listened. From check in to our last day. Complete enjoyment! We were in building #4. The view was breath taking. The 8th floor has the exercise facilities and wonderful sitting areas too. The onsite luau was amazing. I heard a group of girls walking by saying, "our luau didn't do that". They went to one in town somewhere. It was worth the expense of renting a cabana whenever we were on the beach for the day. It can get really windy (that is to say sandy/windy) and I am ok in the sun, my husband burns easily. The room had great shower pressure and heat . The room was always clean. We requested extra pillows and were asked what kind; that was a first in a hotel. We chose the foam by the way, nice added comfort. Room service is offered breakfast and dinner only. I do wish the meal pricing (like breakfast) was a little less in price. $30 is a little much. We would definitely stay again! Being near Black rock to snorkel is awesome!!

The CJ's Deli has a great breakfast. Go for the potatoes if offered potatoes or rice. Also, the Hana box lunch; whether driving on the road to Hana or just to take on the beach, well worth it. The sandwich size is really two meals in one!

This hotel is on the best beach in Maui
The best part about staying at this hotel is the access to Ka'anapali Beach. During our week long stay on the island we visited many beaches, and the one at the Sheraton was our favorite. The hotel was fine overall. The rooms were kind of dated, but we didn't spend much time inside anyway. I would definitely stay here again.

Eat at Ono's Tacos. It's basically a food stand a short drive up the street and the owner Jose makes the best fish tacos. Check it out on Yelp.

Great Location, Average Rooms
This hotel is in one of my most favorite spots on Maui, Black Rock is my husband and I favorite place to go to the beach and snorkel, unfortunately he was not with me this year and I had my infant daughter so snorkeling was not really an option. The pools were great and my 10-month old had a blast. Love the walking distance to Whaler's Village and Restaurants. The hotel grounds were beautiful and the staff was friendly enough, however I was a little frustrated because I called ahead to request two adjoining rooms so that my nanny could be in the next room. When we arrived they put us on separate floors and gave her an ocean view. While they tried to get us closer, they did not succeed. I was a little disappointed in the decor of the rooms for the price of this hotel. I have stayed in far less expensive places in Maui that were immaculate, beautiful, updated and clean (rock wall showers, granite counter-tops, new furniture, etc). I would stay here again with my family if we got a really good deal, otherwise I would go back to my favorite place that my husband and I have stayed at for years.

Good location, resort needs a little updating
Great location and nice grounds. Comfortable rooms but the interior could use some updating, especially the bathrooms. The entire layout of the resort was a little confusing at first.
