Meeting Info
The true reward of gathering at Sheraton Maui becomes immediately apparent in the outdoor settings. The pristine expanse of the Ocean Lawn, rolling down to the surf, promises Hawaiian festivities of old: perhaps a lu'au with a splurge of torches, or a lively cookout in the style of the paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy). The 12,000 square-foot Ocean Lawn is unprecedented in its breathtaking backdrop of Pu'u Keka'a, the Pacific Ocean and neighboring islands. The Anuenue Lawn, set amidst fresh Hawaiian ferns, is a perfect venue for festive affairs of up to 250 people.

Sheraton Spa & Resort

This has to be one of the top premier resorts on Maui. The service by the staff was excellent and the experience of a delux ocean front room was unforgettable. We were able to view whales and dolphins within twenty yards of the rooms balcony. Incredible rainbows reflecting off the water and sunsets that you want to see when visiting Hawaii. The resort has the amenities most visitors want when taking time to relax. I have recommended this hotel to my friends. I will definitely stay at the resort on my next visit.

Maui extrvaganza

Had a very good time at the Sheraton. The staff was outstanding, polite. Not just one or two of them everyone we dealt with for our entire stay. The hotel is great, the beach outstanding, the room was great. Not much more I can say except that we will be going back there next year.

Beautiful hotel, dated room

We arrived during a very slow week in January. While we had reserved a resort view room, they "upgraded" us to a partial ocean view. The hotel was quite empty but they put us in a room right next to the elevators, so you could hear the elevators running and bells dinging all night long. It would seem if they were going to give you an upgrade it would be to a better room. The partial ocean view was only visible if you stepped onto the deck. The room was small and dated and after staying at other resorts in the area, probably wouldn't return. However, the grounds were gorgeous, location perfect and staff was friendly.

7th Visit to the Sheraton

Our 7th visit to the Sheraton's Deluxe Ocean Front Room. Fantastic view. Beautiful 23 acre grounds. Snorkeling at Black Rock. We love the Sheraton's friendly staff. Deluxe Ocean Front Rooms have been upgraded since January 2011. I'll pay a premium for a great room and the Sheraton has them.

The good and the bad

First the good, the Sheraton Maui probably has one of the best locations on Maui, and they KNOW IT! If you like snorkeling and swimming you are in the right spot. We saw more fish right from our hotel room beach than we did on the boat trip we did. The other frustrating thing was the food. I have been to Hawaii before and I know food is expensive. I live near the Colorado ski resorts so I know that burgers can be upwards of $15 in those spots. But Sheraton took this way to far. $19 for a burger without cheese and $8 for a 12oz beer in a plastic cup is just too much. Needless to say we chose to dine in other areas in Lahaina town and Kapula where they were not trying to get every dollar out of you. As I mentioned before, this was the 2nd time we stayed at Sheraton in Hawaii, and probably the last. They have just taken resort town tourist money making too far. Next time we go to the islands, and we will because we love them we will be staying in a condo type environment for sure.

Simply perfect location

The Sheraton is nice. But what makes it great is where it is. Easy walk to shops, some restaurants, and the beach is perfect. Snorkeling is highly recommended.
