Goergous location, friendly staff
We Stayed for 5 nights here and the hotel staff had made our trip a very enjoyable experience! They have a beautiful pool, great restaurant, and the beach is right in front of the hotel, and it's super clean. The only complaint, if there's any, is that the resort is huge and the buildings are all connected and winged out, it took me forever to figure out how to get to my room.

Great location near black rock
It was a great stay at the Sheraton. Had a wonderful view on our ocean view escape room. I loved this place only for its views and amazing landscapes. We got a great vacation package deal. I wish they had a private beach instead of the public beach near black rock considering the enormous daily resort charges that they charge. I could have stayed in a cheaper hotel and snorkeled at black rock instead to avoid all the extra expenses and resort charges in Sheraton. Parking was a pain. It was far from the main buildings and the parking entrance card didn't work sometimes if some other card was stuck in before, etc. I guess it was all about mandating on the valet parking instead. We didn't eat here and chose better restaurants nearby instead. Also, renting out boards, snorkel gear from Whaler village area is cheaper than right at the beach behind the hotel. The concierge is really good and they provide all the information you need and whatever tours you want to book. I would also recommend booking tours, etc from Lahaina area or online specials instead of Sheraton concierge to get the extra 10% off.

Short walk from hotel
Buy, shop rent gear, food court, etc from Whaler's village area. It is much cheaper. For best restaurants drive to Lahaina or few minutes walk to Roy's on Kaanapali parkway. Don't miss snorkeling at black rock to see huge turtles

Perfect Honeymoon
We arrived for our belated honeymoon and were greeted with smiles by the entire staff. Upon check-in we were upgraded to a room with a view overlooking the pool and the beautiful ocean. The room was clean and the balcony was large enough for us to kick our feet up and share breakfast with the local birds! The pool area was clean and the water was refreshing. You are steps away from one of the best snorkeling beach as you are right on Black Rock. There was a convenient shuttle that would take you into Lahaina and bring you back. You are within walking distance of Whaler Village which we did everyday. We ate and drank at several of the restaurants along the walk as well as in Lahaina and had great food at every place we stopped. We had rented a car from the airport and used it almost everyday and still only used half a tank. We traveled from North Shore to South Shore and places in between. It was an incredible trip and we are looking forward to returning.

Great Location
A great location, right outside of the famous Black Rock, and a prime location on Kaanapali Beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful for all our needs. The Sharaton has sitting areas outide each floor of the rooms facing the beautiful Kaanapali Beach.

Food and beverages are expensive in all resort locations. Leilanes, and Hula Grill have a happy hour from 3:00 to 5:00 everyday on drinks and food specials. Also a 5 minute drive to CJ's Deli, China Bowl, and pizza.

Very nice getaway
The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa was a great hotel. Much to do and very nice grounds, maintained very well. Rooms appeared to have been made over recently. Great location as sandwiched between Black Rock and Whaler's Village. Very nice beach although lacking in waves unless you walk down by the Hyatt.

Very Good Value
The Sheraton Maui I found to be a good value for a Hawaii vacation. The pool and ocean are within a few steps of each other and I found one to be as clean and refreshing as the other. There is plenty to do, scuba, snorkeling, walking, bike riding, surfing, and most of all relaxing. Make sure you get the ocean front view it is worth the money.

front desk staff was lackluster
The front desk staff here was inconsistent. We checked in for our 1 year anniv and was given a room with 2 double beds. REALLY? and we didn't even know until we walked into the room. We called the front desk and got the same lady and she said nothing could be done until the next day. Then I went back late at night and spoke to a different person and he got his manager involved and found a way to get us into a king room! he was awesome. but then the lady came into play again ... we had to move rooms half way into the stay and she said #1 bags would be moved into the new room and #2 they would call me when the new room was ready. well she failed on both. i waited until 3pm and just walked to the front desk and sure enough got my new rooms keys and sure enough my bag was not transferred. don't say something if you are not actually going to do it! other than the front desk lady killing my trip and the awesome late night front desk employee doing everything in his power to save it, it was not what i expected from sheraton of all brands...
