Great Location

The Sheraton's location is excellent. The rooms are clean but dated. The valet parking staff and concierges are great. The front desk staff is terrible. Two of the three employees I spoke with at the front desk were rude and not very helpful. When I go back to Maui, I'll be staying elsewhere.

Great Stay

The Sheraton was a great, clean, comfortable stay. The beach was beautiful and the snorkeling was great right off the beach. The only drawbacks were the expensive hotel food and drinks and the crazy prices to rent a beach chair or cabana. They do however, have mini-fridges in the room and many island snorkel shops rent beach chairs and coolers very inexpensively for the week. We stocked up at after leaving the airport so we could at least have inexpensive meals for breakfast and lunch. We went whale watching (also saw many off the shore from our beach) and had many great dinners in Lahaina. We'll definitely be back !

Stock up at Costco before you leave the airport area. The food is ridiculously expensive and when we did eat breakfast there - for a 30.00 buffet - not very tasty.

Not too impressed

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days in March and although we loved the property and the amenities, the staff was extremely rude. As soon as they heard we booked our trip through this site, they were just not interested to talk to us as if we got it for free. I chose this hotel by reading others reviews but our experience was completely different and not a pleasant one. Don't pick this hotel if you are one of those who get ticked off by bad hospitality.

great location

Great location, and building 6 (on the black rock) has exceptional views. You feel nickel and dimed throughout your stay, and none of the staff seem particularly invested in ensuring you have an amazing trip, but the facilities are all great.
