Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

A great location, right outside of the famous Black Rock, and a prime location on Kaanapali Beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful for all our needs. The Sharaton has sitting areas outide each floor of the rooms facing the beautiful Kaanapali Beach.

The Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa was a great hotel. Much to do and very nice grounds, maintained very well. Rooms appeared to have been made over recently. Great location as sandwiched between Black Rock and Whaler's Village. Very nice beach although lacking in waves unless you walk down by the Hyatt.

The Sheraton Maui I found to be a good value for a Hawaii vacation. The pool and ocean are within a few steps of each other and I found one to be as clean and refreshing as the other. There is plenty to do, scuba, snorkeling, walking, bike riding, surfing, and most of all relaxing. Make sure you get the ocean front view it is worth the money.

Location Location Location....It's the best place to stay on the island!

The front desk staff here was inconsistent. We checked in for our 1 year anniv and was given a room with 2 double beds. REALLY? and we didn't even know until we walked into the room. We called the front desk and got the same lady and she said nothing could be done until the next day. Then I went back late at night and spoke to a different person and he got his manager involved and found a way to get us into a king room! he was awesome. but then the lady came into play again ... we had to move rooms half way into the stay and she said #1 bags would be moved into the new room and #2 they would call me when the new room was ready. well she failed on both. i waited until 3pm and just walked to the front desk and sure enough got my new rooms keys and sure enough my bag was not transferred. don't say something if you are not actually going to do it! other than the front desk lady killing my trip and the awesome late night front desk employee doing everything in his power to save it, it was not what i expected from sheraton of all brands...

Awesome lady (Irene) at the front desk, she upgraded us to an ocean view room. Glad we chose this hotel. Friendly hotel staff. One thing thou, the room can use some updating...

My family and I enjoyed this hotel very much staff was very nice and helpful. The Bellman walked us to the room with our bags and explained most of the Hotels workings. The room was fairly large with a double door bath which felt very grand, it was clean and very quiet during the night.(might be because we had good neighbours). Only thing I didn't like was the valet,they take your car when you arrive because you need to check in before you can park in the gated garage. They didn't explain to me that my bags will be taken out and that they would be touching my stuff. They also moved my seat position and changed the radio station very annoying to me; I would have been really mad if it was my personal car. Besides the valet this Hotel was excellent.

I'd like to start by saying that we had a wonderful time at the resort, and we would definitely stay there again. Best location on Kaanipali Beach! Our complaints are minor and would NOT keep us from returning. First thing, the pool is FREEZING! especially when the breeze starts blowing. I really wish it was temperature controlled. Also, the parking garage was quite a trek from our room, and we don't use valet. Our only complaint about the room was the balcony. The chairs were very uncomfortable in my opinion, and the railing obstructs the magnificent view. So maybe higher chairs would solve this issue. The room was clean, but not as pretty as the pictures make it look. I thought the Resort Fee was a little excessive, but it was nice to have wi-fi and parking. The food is good, but not worth the cost, which is about average for the area. Two Baileys & Coffee = $22!!!! We thought we were saving by ordering those and skipping dessert, no such luck! So watch those types of things. All in all the Staff was wonderful and even upgraded us on arrival to an oceanfront room. Could do without the Starwood Timeshare Sales pitches. The location, well I can't imagine that a view can be more breathtaking than this.

Great location, very friendly staff, couldn't have asked for much more than this!!

This was our 4th trip to Maui, our 3rd time with the Sheraton Maui. We have considered staying at more luxurious accommodations, however have not been able to find any room that comes close to the deluxe oceanfront rooms. Where else can you wake up to whales and green turtles frolicking right outside your lanai? The rooms are clean, with both a microwave and small fridgeas well as a coffee maker, the linens and pillows on the bed are first class (the mattress left a little to be desired). The staff helpful when needed, and stayed out of the way when not needed. This room category allows for breakfast with a spectacular view of the ocean wildlife, and then sunsets that were awe inspiring - it doesnt get better than that.
