- Guests may enjoy the property's three swimming pools (two heated) and the only private beach club on Kaanapali Beach. Outrigger Maui Eldorado's Beach Cabana is situated on 2003's "Best Beach in America"; the beautiful white sand swimming beach of Kaanapali. The Cabana offers guests beach towels and backrests, full kitchen facilities, restrooms and beach showers. The Cabana may be reserved for private meetings, wedding receptions, and family reunions from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. The property is a five to ten minute walk to the beach, fronting two fairways of the world famous Kaanapali Golf Course. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby daily.

HS in Maui
Maui Outrigger rocks!
It's a great location. It's in the middle of busy place but you find tranquility at the same time! It has its own cabana with kind of a private beach. Staff is very friendly. I would go back to this place again!!

Short drive from hotel
Go to Lahaina harrbor which is 4 miles east. Good location to shop, dine, & do fun activities. Don't go to Whaler's village...it's costly affair for dining, shopping etc. We realized it hard way.

Nice Location/Nice rooms/Great Price
The hotel is in a great location right near a nice snorkeling beach called Black Rock. The hotel room was always cleaned during the day and had plenty of room to fit 3 adults comfortably. It doesn't have the best pool but it was nice enough. It is located near nice beaches and plenty of restaurants and bars. Lahaina bar area is a $15 cab ride away or you could stay closer and walk to Whalers village.

The room is very dated...from the 70s and had a musty smell that hit you as you walked in the door.

Great Vacation Condo
For the past 30 years we always stay at the Outrigger Maui Eldorado. The resort is close enough to all the shopping and dining, but remote enough to make you feel far away from it all too. Nestled between the Sheraton and the Royal Lahaina Hotels on the most beautiful golf course immaginable. We enjoy cooking and BBQ's; many of the condos have gourmet kitchens with 2 propane BBQ's near the large pool. This is the best location to view the sunset.

very close to the main Kaanapali Beach area where daily boats can pick you up for snorkling day trips; parasailing right off the beach in front of the Hyatt as well as jet skis. Close to Lahaina Marina for access to the sunset cocktail cruise and dinner cruise options.

Super Satisfied!
I wouldn't stay anywhere else
We loved staying here and after exploring the island we realized that we were definitely in the best location with the best amenities for the best price. We loved having our own balcony with chairs and a table. We loved the size of our studio room which included a king bed, couch bed, kitchen, and a nice size bathroom. We loved the great service. They drove us down to the water or we could walk 5 minutes...super easy. We walked to the Sheraton for snorkeling at black rock. We are so glad we didn't stay in a hotel. We really felt like we were in a peaceful place. We were right across the street from pizza, chinese and american food. Kaanapali is the best beach minus the fact you can't boogie board b/c there really aren't very many waves but the water is clear and clean and the beach is extremely pleasant. We would only stay here the next time we come to Maui. The price also could not be beat!

This resort is situated on a lovely
This resort is situated on a lovely part of the coast with good beaches,very good restaurants,good shopping and wonderful golf courses. We only wish we could have stayed much longer at this resort (maybe next time) but would certainly recommend it to our friends and anybody contemplating a holiday on Maui.

Very Nice Resort
Very enjoyable. We had a partial ocean view from our lanai which we enjoyed very much. Nice kitchen and bath. Did not enjoy the small toilet shower area. Door would not open all the way and that was frustsrating. Our room was outdated a bit but very bright and cheery.

Family trip 2009
Great place and very good value. We saved a lot on food with the full kitchen. Very comfortable and very clean. Great outdoor area. 5 minute walk to the beach and the private beach cabana was outstanding. Only draw back was the pools were not that great for the kids, but the ocean more than made up for it.
