Best value for the money!

We rented a hotel room there. The room was small but clean, comfortable bed and quiet. The resort has a small pool with waterfall, coy pond, two hot tubs with sand on the bottom, barbecue grills, free parking and laundry, and right across the street from a lovely beach!

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Right across the street is Sands of Kahana resort/Condo with a lovely restaurant. Bargain early bird breakfast for $5.95 and Happy Hour drinks at 4-6 for $4.00

Roaches and inconveniences

Somehow our reservation was split between 2 rooms. 2 days into out stay we had to pack up everything and move to a different room. When I checked out of the first room, the next room wasn't available for a few hours. The staff could do nothing on location, i had to call the management company to get anything done. While they did give me a 5% discount that really didnt make up for the half a day that was wasted getting into another room. While in the second room we saw a roach climbing on the wall. Disgusting! The jacuzzi looked really bad too. Murky and dirty.
