Best family vacation
Looked at so many reviews to ensure I booked the best vacation. Soo, glad I went with this one. The pool is awesome, great access to the beach from the rooms and the pool. BBQ grills on site for use. Kitchen was adequate with a griddle big enough for cooking breakfast for 4 each morning. We went to a couple other hotels for lunch/dinner and Kaanapali Beach Club has the BEST beach and pool area. Upgrade to the deluxe beach rooms in the Ohana Tower. Very much worth it. From the lanai we could see the mountains, pool, beach and bothe the sunset and sunrise. Places to go: Times grocery across the street for best prices besides Walmart on the other side of the island. We stopped at Walmart before heading to hotel to get breakfast and lunch, snack items. Lahaina On Front street was the best for shopping and people watching. Stop by Whalers Village for the experience though. The Submarine Tour was awesome

Nothing Special, better options available!
Beware beach lovers, we were disapointed the beach in front of the hotel is rocky. We had to walk far or get in the rental car everytime for a beach day. Do not stay here if planning on going to the beach everyday, which is the best thing in Maui. The hotel is overpriced with knock off liquor drinks, and $16 burgers at the pool bar. (burger was terrible too)! They charge extra for everything. Avoid the sales pitch meeting to get discounts on activities. If your not planning on buying, don't do it. Our concierge Holly was terrible and rude. The only decent thing about the resort was the room and kitchenette. Expected for the room price. I recommend another place to stay.

Wonderful Time
The valet was a little overwhelming. But they did do what they get paid for. The location is good. They have a nice beach but the water is shallow, about 2 ft. deep for a long way out. Nice to walk down the beach towards Black Rock. The room was spacious. A small kitchen-really need to get a stove put in. Now you have to use an electric skillet. But it worked. I loved the bathroom. It had a shower and a DEEP bathtub and 2 sinks. The bed was a king and very comfortable. Overall we would definitely stay there again.

Great Romantic Getaway
Room was really nice and comfortable. Room was located with mountain view which was fine. Room was quiet except when housekeeping carts went by. Staff was courteous. Food in hotel was pricey. Kitchen would be better if you replaced the dishwasher with a stove/oven. Pool was nice. Could use another hot tub! Drink service by the pool would be nice. Happy hour drinks nothing to brag about. A rather good experience. Would like to return!

Good Stay
We stayed here after finding a great deal. The room was larger then we expected and nicely furnished. We didn't use any of the hotels amenities, but they seem nice. The covered parking was good, but after 8 we found it difficult to find a spot.

Kaanapali Beach Club
The room was great, it was better than I hoped for. It had a Kitchen, dining table, front room with couch, two chairs and large screen TV. The bedroom was very nice with two beds and TV. The bathroom was large with two sinks, shower and Tub. The maid came in everyday and the rooms were real clean. The pool area had lots of loungers for sun bathting. The beach was ok, the sand was always wet, so laying on the sand didn't happen. Happy hour everyday 3-6 was good and the bartenders were friendly and informative.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
Nightlife was hard to find, most places closed down at 10PM. Some live band were playing on Friday and Saturday in Lahaina, Hard Rock Cafe had a good band and reasonably priced drinks. There were other bands in the same area.

Amazing Location
Staff were wonderful and helpful. I felt like I was on vacation my entire stay. Beach is steps from the hotel. Best pool on the beach walk. Rooms were large. Grocery store is right across the street. Buy your own beer here and take it to the beach to save $$. Don't rent a car. The public bus ($2 pass per day) will take you everywhere you want to go and picks you up at the hotel drive. Will take you to Lahaina, Whalers Village, etc. Ask bellmen when arrive and they'll direct you to the stop. Only negative is there is a $31.50 "resort fee" per day that is not included in your booking price. Hotel charged me when I checked in. So my 9 day stay cost me more than $283 than I was expecting to pay. Tried to refuse the fee with no luck.
