Aston Kaanapali Shores

Great location and we got a really terrific room - it was supposed to be ocean view and it delivered! We actually requested a 2-bdrm but got a 2-bdrm plus an upstairs 3rd bedroom and loft, which sadly we did not need or use. All the fixtures, utensils, appliances were very nice. Food and drinks were good. Snorkeling here is AMAZING. Internet wifi was mostly good, although it could be hit or miss sometimes. Parking was convenient to our room. [Only negatives were the $5/day for the "fitness center" which was a tiny area crammed with machines and no room to move (plus who charges for their fitness center???). Do NOT get the manicures at the salon - mine was god-awful and way overpriced.] Overall it was a very good experience!

This was our 6th time staying at this resort and once again it didn't disappoint. This resort is located 10 minutes south of Kapalua Bay area and 5 minutes north of the Whaler Village area and 10 minutes north of Lahaina ...putting you within easy reach of all the fun places. There's a grocery store across the street along with other great local eateries. We snorkeled at Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay and Airport Beach and they were all excellent. North Ka'anapali beach extends about one and a half miles south from here so there's plenty of room for sunset walks along the beach. The restaurant at this resort is very good. The staff was always friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back.

It was very nice. It was busy with large groups considering we missed the Spring Break rush! We'll deff stay at this hotel again! Mahalo nui loa!

The location of the resort is awesome. The views were great and we were right on the beach. We were a short walk from local restaurants and sometimes a short drive. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The hotel room was a nice size. We did have a few issues with room such as fixtures falling off, not enough lighting and the door was hard to open and close. We did get startled a few times with other quests coming in and out of thier rooms. Also, guest should be aware that they have to pay extra for hotel amenities (WIFI, fitness center, playstation, parking and others) like $19 per day.

Had a great time at the Aston Kannapali Shores. Our two bedroom, two bath Condo was great. The condo was in great condition. We especially loved the view from our room and the very functional kitchen. Had all the necesssary supplies to make our meals. Well worth the price we paid.

Easy check in, easy check out. Came with friends for a wedding and the rooms were much bigger than I initially though. Decent view depending on where you stay. The Hotel Saver Rooms can actually sleep people (or at least the one we stayed in). Used the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign the entire time so I cant rate the cleaning services. Had all the standard amenities, weird they charge for the SAFE however, but the dual slinging doors to the LANAI were awesome!

This hotel was lovely. The room was large and clean. [...] booked a studio room...but the hotel gladly upgraded us for free! The room was set up for an extended stay and was beautifully decorated & included washer/dryer kitchen w/ fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The hotel has 2 great pools and jacuzzis & was all set behind the beach...accessible from the property. I really enjoyed my time there & only wish I could've stayed longer.

first time at Maui and would stay here again. close to shopping and all our tours-1/2 hour or less away.

Aston Kaanapali shores was a calm, relaxing, beautiful and friendly hotel. There are a lot of things to do within the hotel. I personally enjoyed the beautiful beach and the on-site restaurant. My favorite menu items were the Kahlua pork sandwich and the Fried rice breakfast. It filled me up and were very delicious. This hotel was a perfect place for me to relax and clear my mind. It was very quiet. Not noisy at all. and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. I can honestly say that this has been one of the better hotels that I have ever stayed in. The hotel and staff made me feel as if I were at home.

The condo with spacious and comfortable with a full kitchen (with full amenities). There is the pool/beach in the back. The only downfall of the beach was that there were some areas that were rocky in the area. Also, parking was $9 per day. I was happy with the area we were staying in (near many restaurants, beaches, etc). There were plenty of beach towels near the pool to use (so you don't have to bring your own). Overall, very happy with the experience. Would definately stay here again.
