Great October at the Manua Lani

Would recommend Thu, Oct 22, 2015
The hotel location in Kohala is perfect weather wise, leeward side where it hardly ever rains. The beach is fantastic. Great location for beginner snorkelers in the rocks off the beach (lots of big fish were seen). The hotel grounds are beautiful and worth exploring. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They let us use a courtesy room for an hour in the evening after we checked out so that we could get cleaned up after the last day at the beach. Let your worries melt away at the Manua Lani!!!

I'll be back!

Would recommend Sat, Sep 12, 2015
This place is so beautiful! Amazing grounds, beautiful beach. Includes use of bikes & snorkel gear, activities, music.... Canoe House has amazing food. Close to store to get groceries. Veggie food at Boddie Tree. Fish ponds are lovely. Turtles on beach. Short walk to beach where you can snorkel & see coral reefs & LOTS of fish. You can rent kayaks & boards. They even serve food & drinks right on the beach. We had a garden room that looks over gardens, solar panel roof & could see the ocean from our bed. Also has Cultural Center & activities. Hapuna Beach is very close & also great. Can't imagine a better choice. Stayed 4 nights & then went to stay in Volcano Village 3 more. Best of both worlds w/ lots to see in between. What a trip!

Great Rooms, Amazing Beach, Great Staff

Would recommend Sun, Jun 28, 2015
The beach amenities on the resort are great. Multiple 2 seat cabana's to use, Great hammock locations and an protected area to swim/snorkel in. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. I was lucky enough to be upgraded to an ocean view and I must say that the view was amazing. The staff was also very helpful As far as location, Its quite close to a resort shop which has a nice store where you can pick up supplies, however it is a bit of a drive to Kona. Overall its a relaxing place that i would recommend to friends.

Nice rooms, though we did see some ants crawling around. The beach and pools were beautiful. Staff was nice and helpful. They gave us juice and leis when we arrived, which was a nice touch. It was really fun to watch all the interesting fish throughout the premises.

Good option

Would not recommend Wed, Nov 19, 2014
Room was really nice and the location is great. Staff was pleasant. The food was ok, though not a lot of options on site. Seemed a bit pricey for what you got. We ended up doing most dinners at the Fairmont up the road. I think next time we would either go a bit cheaper - i.e., the Hilton, or more up market - i.e., the Fairmont.
