Big Island May 2009
Everything I expected from a low priced hotel. No frills. The only problem was with the shampoo. I usually expect 1 new bottle of hotel sized shampoo everyday. They never replenished my shampoo. I had to call the front desk to ask for it. The one time I did, they gave me two bottles. Otherwise, this hotel was perfectly fine. I booked a 6 night flight& hotel to the big island that would not have been possible if it was not for this hotel. I had an amazing time there and in the grand scheme of things, the shampoo really isn't a big deal.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
For snorkeling, walmart has a good selection of snorkeling gear. be sure to put on plenty of sunscreen. I've never been burned on my legs, so I neglected that part of my body when putting on sunscreen. Boy was I in for a shock. After the first day of snorkeling, the back of my legs were all burnt pretty severely.

Good service, good price
Other than a young teenager running through the hall knocking on everyone's door in the A.M., everything else was great for the price. The staff was very kind and helpful and the location was great for good food and shopping.
