Beautiful ocean location. Property was clean and well maintained. We were upgraded to main building which had been recently renovated . Spacious and very comfortable. A very relaxing stay and enjoyed the yoga on the beach.

Hidden fees

The location is great, nice rooms, personnel super-friendly, courteous and efficient, and even the garden view is beautiful. Just one very pricey and sophisticated restaurant for dinner, one lounge and one cafe. in a very remotely area. The location is not bad. In paradise I do not need to see a lot of urbanization. You would expect some more choices for eating and shopping (there is no stores whatsoever, even for essential necessities, as you always find at high end brand hotels). Also it didn't fulfill our expectations for a brand Hotel. It is a condominium, turned into hotel (and by the way they will try to sell you a timeshare or club vacations, obnoxious. However there is a "hidden fee" of $30 a day At first seems to be voluntary to enjoy free services (activities, internet, etc. It was offered at check-in, and I refused it. I didn't use any of the "services" but they were charging me the $30 dollars daily, thought it was a mistake. When I went to point this out, was told it is a mandatory fee. This is not clear when you book. I would not mind this if it was straight face, and was included in the price, but this practice is DECEIVING!!!

More like a three star hotel

The people working at the Sheraton were really kind and lovely. But the facilities were lacking and everything is overpriced. For instance, the "fitness center" consists of three squeaky treadmills, one elliptical, some free weights, and a couple of VERY old weight machines crammed into a couple hundred square feet. That is unacceptable to me for a stay in a four star hotel. And the food and drinks are exorbitantly expensive, but the other nearby hotels are also eye gouging expensive for these things, so it's probably a side effect of the touristy location on the south end of the island.

Check out Da Crack fish tacos. It's a hole-in-the-wall local joint with delicious (and affordable) mexican take out.

Good value

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Some shortfalls would be the quality of the toiletries. The location is fantastic and the hotel sponsors daily activities. However, if you plan on venturing around the island all day the $30 daily resort fee is a waste.

Nice hotel with the perfect location

We spent 6 nights in this hotel. The location is perfect: along a nice strech of beach. We booked garden view room. Room was a little bit small, but it was ok. we didn't spent too much yime in the room.

Location, location, location

Fronts the best beach on the south shore. What else do you need to know? Food is blah, drinks good but overpriced. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, property is beautiful. No microwaves in room ($20 per day charge) with small bar fridge. All rooms are close to beach. You should rent a car - nothing really in walking distance. Stock up at Walmart (boogie boards are only $25!) or Costco close to airport before driving to Sheraton - really no services nearby all restaurants basically clustered in one mall a couple miles away.

Quiet, relaxing, beachfront location

Great beachfront location. Warm breezes blow wherever you are. Like the rest of the island, the scenery is unbelievable. Friendly staff help to make sure things are right. Great value for the money, particularly when compared with its neighbors. Beds are comfortable--shower won't disappoint.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

Two things you don't want to miss out on. 1) Helicopter tour--Napali Coast is simply breathtaking. 2) Driving tour over North Shore past Hanalei to Se'e Beach. Make sure your camera is charged, although pictures don't do justice to the area. It was 80 degrees when we were there, and I still got chills down my spine--you'll be amazed by the beauty at the end of the road.

Hotel was very nice. Had requested a quiet room ocean front on high floor. Upon arrival put us on third floor (only four floors) overlooking the pool and bar but could see the ocean just fine. We requested to be moved to quiet location and the next day they moved us to a beautiful room with unobstructed view of the ocean on the fourth (top) floor. Slept with the door open every night and heard constant waves crashing which drowned out husbands snoring and I have never slept better. Comfy beds and pillows nice touches in room and at beach.
