Outrigger Kiahuna Plantation

The staff was friendly and nice. The condo was large and just perfect for fixing breakfast and lunches in, and there were nice restaurants close by for dinner.

We went to Plantation Gardens, a garden paradise for our honeymoon. We had a partial ocean view that was amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive! The condo was spacious and had adequate supplies. Clean and well maintained! We loved walking on the beach every night and took a lot of beautiful garden pictures right on the premises. Quiet, peaceful atmostphere. The orientation was very informative about island activities - recommendations and warnings.

We had expected a hotel room but when we walked in we discovered a bedroom, kitchen, dining room, livingroom and of course a bathroom all fully supplied with daily necessities. Out the back door was a two acre suculent garden on the way to the beach. The bed had plumaria flowers on it as well the bathroom and kitchen counter. We were totally supprised and enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed the casual, relaxed atmosphere at the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The grounds were very pretty and well maintained. The beach was lovely and never crowded. As tennis players, we made good use of the tennis facilities and the staff was very helpful setting up matches for us. The check in was not particularly friendly or welcoming. After having stayed several times At the Mauna Kea Beach Resort on the big island we were used to a much more personal and friendly staff. The condo was spacious. The only negative was that I had to clean the refrigerator door before we used it. The rest of the unit was clean. The condos are older so the bathrooms could use some updating. Not really an issue since we were out and about most of the day.

My husband & I came here for a week-long vacation. The plantation grounds were impecibly clean and well maintained. The rooms were adequately sized, with all the amenities one could ask for. It was like our own furnished condo on the beach. Convenient location across from several restrants and other attractions on the south side of the island. We will definitely be back here on our next trip to Kauai!

The place is beautiful, very nice beach, easy to get to....everything is available at beach access that you need. During winter months bring jackets, sweats for evening and night time...it does get cool after 5. Even locals bundle up.

Great location, great service, spacious condo, it doesn't get much better than this!

The hotel was amazing. The room had this little note book, and people whom had stayed in the room left notes on their stay. We ended up booking an adventure based on one of the recommendations and we were glad we did. The restaurant(s) are amazing too- The one by the pool is just ok- In fact its better for lunch and a beer. BUT- the one near the check in office is FANTASTIC. I recommend the Mojitos... Note the hotel on the left(if facing the water) has a little restaurant that is good for dinner and amazing with lunch, Try a local beer and the fish & Chips- you won't be unhappy.

Condo was perfect for anniversary trip. Maid service was adequate. Great beach access with spots to snorkel, swim and learn to surf. Stay away from the Activities hut across the street in the shopping center....the older little man that works there is just trying to get you to go on a timeshare tour elsewhere and he's VERY rude if you turn him down. Seriously..it was ridiculous!

The hotel was great! The grounds are beautiful & the Plantation Gardens restaurant was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We had a great ocean view room. The hotel concierge was able to reserve all the activities we wanted to do, saved us some money & the hassle of us calling each vendor to reserve each activity (i.e. luau, helicopter & rafting tours.) I would highly recomend this hotel as well as this island.
