Girls on the town
Wonderful Maui
My two daughters and I had a wonderful time in Kehei, Maui. The unit was older but well cared for and had a full kitchen and amenities. The location was great, the staff were wonderful, and you have never seen a more beautiful grounds then this resort. We were close to wonderful shopping, beautiful beaches, and great snorkeling locations. We even went to a luau that was a short drive away and had a wonderful show.

It was late when we arrived so we just got a shuttle to the resort. When we later realized we needed a rental car, we got one in town from a great, inexpensive business called Kehei Rental Cars.

Maui Sunset-Maui Condo & Home
Condo complex had a nice beach to walk and you could watch the whales and wind and kite surfers. Sea weed on the beach was cleaned up M - F but not on the weekends. The condo was quiet and had nicely kept up grounds. The inside of the condo unit was clean and had a lot of nice extras like beach chairs, wine glasses, and a great little kitchen. We loved setting on the lania. Great gas grills were available for grilling. The only difficuty we experienced was with the front office. The staff were not welcoming or helpful especially with information and computer access.

Oldie but Goodie
Mostly enjoyed the Maui sunset grounds, and the other guests. Our particular unit was dated and needed a "deep cleaning", but other units we saw seemed lovely. It is in a good location and we would recommend the Maui Sunset, but would chose a different unit than the one we had.

Enjoyed the Warren and Annabelle's magic show in Lahina. A little pricey, but very entertaining.

Definitely rent snorkeling equipment for as low a 1.50 a day at Boss Frogs & go snorkeling at Makena Beach. Saw lots of fish & turtles.

Maui Vacay
I had no idea the staff wouldn't be able to help us w/ problems w/ the room. They directed us to call a number! And as for checking out @ a later time, we had to call the owners? What's up w/ that!?!?

Complaint about cleanliness
Upon arrival at around 9pm on July 4, the reception office was closed. Only the security guard was on duty, and he could not fine our reservation. He let my husband into a unit, which was not cleaned nor prepared, the room was filthy, sheets and towels dirty, totally unacceptable. So he tried to compensate him by giving him a larger 2=bedroom unit, but again it was not cleaned nor prepared, bathroom and kitchen were dirty, sheets not changed, food on the floor... but he took it as it was late to find another place, and we had paid in full for 4 nights. I don't know whether this is an isolated case. We were very disappointed upon arrival. You know first impression is very important.

Reno Roadtrip Gang
Our first trip to Hawaii
Went to Maui for my daughters small beach wedding at McKenna Cove. Beautiful Island and the weather was great! Plenty of stuff to do, just not enough time to do it. We are already planning our next trip back!

We had a morning orientation at the pool every morning and a gal there who could help you with any activity you might want to do, including locations, times and tickets. Very helpful and a great time saver when you dont know anything about the place you are.
