Positive experience
Though the unit was typical for Kihei condos, it was clean and well-maintained. The pool/spa/workout room area was very nice, and amenities such as free newspaper, free internet access in the office, and grooming products were a nice touch. The staff was very helpful, and the location very handy to beaches and other attractions. Would definitely stay here on future vacations.

Great place for anyone
Castle Kamaole Sands is a great property, this was our 4th time staying there,& yes, every room is differnt, depending on the owner. We stayed in building #6, right by the pool & close to the BBQ.Parking stall was close to room,the property is 100 yards from the beach! Great swimming beach, and big grassy area also for picnics & family outings, we will be back. There is a full kitchen in every room,small washer/dryer also. We stayed 9/11/07 thru 9/18/07.

Very Friendly Great Atmosphere
The Castle Kamaole Sands Condominium Resort was very clean. Great Location; the ocean beach access was across the street, dining and shopping was within walking distance. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The check in and out was quick and easy. One recommendation would be an air conditioner in the master bedroom or central air throughtout the condo. The air unit was located at the opposite end of the condo so no air reached the bedroom. I would recommend these condos to anyone.

The Castle Kamaole Sands ...
The Castle Kamaole Sands Condominium Resort in Kihei, Hawaii is a wonderful resort condo hotel. It was my first visit to Maui and I really enjoyed our stay. I love having a one bedroom which I shared with my Mom. She took the bedroom and I took the sofabed in the living room. Two bathrooms which I really appreaciate having. The only dispointment was that the pool was closed. I loved the location of the resort which was across from Kamole beach.

There were some wonderful restaurants nearby. I especially like to recommend Cafe O'Lei - it is a full service restaurant and we had our first meal there and totally enjoyed our dinner. Breakfast at Fred's was very good too.

Great atmosphere, quiet. Easy, convienient location.
A very nice place to stay. Good value. Lots of space to spread out.Right across from a great beach and park. 1 block from boat ramp which we needed to catch the dive boat. Lots of restraunts close by. Clean and quiet place with beautiful grounds.

good location, good deal
The condo exceeded my expectations. you are in an ideal spot. great beach right across the street. not heavily populated and perfect for a family or a couple. our condo was clean and had all you could hope for from a condo. short drive to shops and restaurants...lahaina is 45 minutes away and the main airport 30 minutes. would recommend it to a friend.

Romantic Getaway
This was our first time staying at the Kamaole Resort and we were very pleased with the location, amenities, and the privacy of the condo. The staff was very welcoming and explained all of the amenities offered at the resort. Since we were on the first floor, we had a beautiful lanai area and access to the garden from our living room! The pool/jacuzzi/fitness center was only steps away so it was a little noisy but overall, we had a great experience!! The beach was right outside of the resort, and there were about three or four shopping centers along the road which was another plus about this resort. There are two bathrooms in the condo which helped a lot as well. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.
