The warm tones of wood, woven grasses, honed plaster and gold-hued stone set a natural tableau for the bright colors of the fresh sushi delicacies. Casual light fare dinner is available Sunday and Monday nights only from 5pm to 8pm.

Honeymoon

The ritz was a fantastic resort to stay ay. We went there for our honeymoon and had a blast. The location is secluded from much of the islands big resort areas so it gives a great romantic feel. Be prepared to dish put some serious money if you plan on staying only on the resort.

Secluded comfort

The RItz-Carlton lives up to its name--this was one luxurious hotel! We found the staff very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They didn't push us to add on anything that we didn't want to, yet they seemed very in tune with making sure all guests' needs were met: from pool staff to housekeeping and from cocktail waitresses to parking attendants. The location is ideal for anyone wanting a secluded, quiet, and serene setting. Though a bit far from major attractions inland, for those seeking respite from traffic and noise, from commercialism and typical tourist traps, I definitely recommend the Ritz-Carlton in Kapalua.

Relaxing, First Class Oasis

We spent eight days, and while the Ritz is generally past our budget range, we got a good deal and were looking for a Thanksgiving week trip away from the crowds. The investment paid off. We had a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing room at a wonderful spot in Maui. For those looking for every possible activity at a resort, this may not be the top pick for you, but for a great facility, top-notch staff, and general relaxation, this was a perfect stay for us. Things are expensive here (especially cocktails), but the experience made up for it.

We're coming back!

We loved our stay the the Ritz in Kapalua. This was our first time to Hawaii and we really had no clue how to plan this trip. We called the hotel over and over asking questions and getting information about the island. They were helpful every time; even before we reserved the room. Everyone at the hotel was terrific. We LOVED our room and the property is beautiful. It's also in a great location. You can access all the "To DOs" in Hawaii like SCUBA and Cruises while still feeling like you're staying in a remote resort. We already decided we're going back next year. Loved it.

Lot's of great vegetarian food choices on the island. If you look around you can find a great meal for a reasonable price. One of our favorite spots was Honu Grill on Laihana.

What a Wonderful Experience!

My very 1st visit to the Hawaiian Islands couldn't have been spent at a better hotel. We booked our trip using an online travel site and everything was so easy for start to finish. We got the airfare, rental car & hotel for a steal (7 nights/8 days)!!! The hotel was beautiful & the staff truly reflected ambiance of a luxurious experience. I would definitely reccommend this hotel & would love to stay there again!

Excellent but windy

This was a fantastic resort hotel in a beautiful location. The amenities were great and the staff overall was excellent. We did have to call concierge two or three times with requests for utensils and to fix the lamp. Other than that the staff was excellent. Free pineapple slices were provided poolside. Be advised that Kapalua is on the north end of the island and is subject to some pretty strong winds and more rain than other parts of Maui. Otherwise the hotel was perfect.
