Aston Aloha Beach Hotel

Good location, close to Wailua River, close to the beach, windy at the pool, hard and old beds, old and very noisy fridge, heavy window to open, housekeeper ladies were nice and friendly,

The hotel is well kept, located in a perfect location making most of the island of kauai easily accessable. The staff were very helpful, the chickens were kind of noisy, but a very interesting additon to a wonderful stay.

The staff were very helpful and cheerful. It's located next to Lydgate Park with great views of the ocean, safe place for kids to snorkel and play in water and in the center of the island making travel to other sights convenient. The main entry is lovely with internet access and places to sit. The rooms look like they have had some up dates with new counters in bathrooms. Bedspreads were new and paint looked fairly recent. Rusty ironing boards, broken safes should just be removed rather than reminding you they were past their times. We couldn't get the air conditioner to work and all the windows are in need of replacement. The pool area looked tired with old discolored lawn chairs. But all that said if you just need a place to sleep that is central and near the airport it meets your needs. They have great specials that really can bring down the price of a trip to paradise.

Good stay. Needs WfFi in the rooms. Fairley long walk to the ocean but beautiful and full of Hawaiian culture.

Check in at 3. Want something to eat and a beverage. Pool bar closed at 3, dining room not open till 5. First strike. Room in on ground level thank goodness cuz upper rooms don't have balconies. Air conditioner barely worked and dirty. No ceiling fan. Peeling paint, slider almost impossible to open, room safe broken. There is no store so did a lot of walking to town 1/2 mile away. The saving grace was the staff who were great. The view was beautiful.

Hotel had roaches. I vacated in two days instead of 5 days I booked. Room had bad Oder. Beds springs makes your back soar. No one should stay in this hotel for vacation.

Very comfortable room, tastefully decorated, clean, affordable. Convenient to airport and not far from central Kapaa.

The staff at this hotel was extremely helpful and friendly. The location was near a golf course, convenient to town, the river, and a beach park with a protected swimming area for children and playground. The property was attractively landscaped with a Japanese garden and two outdoor pools. Wi-fi was only available in the lobby and the snack bar needs improvement--the only negatives for this property. I would definitely stay here again especially when traveling with children.

When we arrived at the hotel we felt welcome by the front desc representatives. Check-in was easy. We were offered a flexibility to choose between a room or a cottage and we prefer a cottage. Location is fine, but perfectly you would like to stay on other south side of Lihue. However, everything on this island 20 minutes away. The cottage was nice and clean with a patio and small kitchen (sink, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster),where we had our own cooked breakfast every morning. However, the bed mattress was too hard for my taste, no wireless connection in the cottage, and unexpected resort daily fee of $10, which we had luck to remove after some negotiations. All those small problems did not ruin our pleasant vacation.

Easy to find, right off the Highway. A varity of restaurants near by. Friendly and accmmodating staff. Free Washer and Dryer.
