Great location to Airport and Maui Arts and Culture Center
The staff were outstanding. The Best room was ordinary and had a very small old TV. The facility is in need of remodeling. The location in proximity of the airport and Maui Art and Cultural Center is excellent. I flew in for a concert and was less than 5 minutes from both places. The hotel offers free transportation to and from the airport. I would stay there again but would have less expectation than at first.

Short stay
Arrived at midnite and left before 7 AM ! The room was clean some of the lights didn't work ,the bed was wonderful.the room was huge good value for $. Didn't stay long enough to fully enjoy every thing they had to offer

Good Place to Stay
I liked the hotel very much. I had no problems with anything. I would suggest that you pay the extra dollars for a garden room, I did. Non garden rooms front a very busy road or a very large parking lot. The buffet breakfast for $13.00 was worth it. If I return to Kahului I'll stay here again. written 8/12/2012

Very good location right in town on ocean front. Clean rooms but dated. Toilet small needs upgrading but will rent again because it is in a very convenient location.

An OK stay at the MBH.
My stay at the Maui Beach Hotel was decent considering the location and the value of the hotel. The room service and activities did fulfill my expectations, nothing more, nothing less.

Too little, too late.
[...] I will never stay here again. This is one instance where I would have preferred to stay at a chain hotel. That night I was woken up to the owner pounding on one of the outer doors for 20 minutes and the following night my electricity went out for several hours. The owners made an attempt at an apology on my second day stating that they have had problems with cheap tickets before, (not my problem however.)I am very disappointed with my experience and would have gone to another hotel if I had the option. The facility itself is very charming.

Clean, simple, and convenient
Quick check-in and clean room. I just stayed overnight. It was Saturday night and there was some loud talking/laughing in the hall for about 2 hours, but subsided in time for sleeping. Bed was acceptable but pillows were hard lumps. Hotel grounds are nice to walk around on. Super convenient to anything in Kahului and surrounding area.

The cruise ships come into the harbor right behind the hotel. Cool to watch. Just walk out into the lawn area and past the gazebo to the beach.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED [...] I THOUGHT IT WAS BETTER THAN MOST MEDIUM PRICED HOTELS, EVEYONE THERE WAS HELPFUL. THE LOCATION WAS CENTRAL IN MAUI TO EVERYTHING, BUT REMOVED FROM THE TOURISTY LOCATIONS OF THE SOUTH AND NORTHWEST. THE LOCAL SHOPPING WAS MORE REASONABLE WITH ALL THE MAINLAND CHAINS CLOSE BY-NOT ALWAYS SO IN THE OTHER AREAS OF MAUI. IF YOUR A GOLFER OR RESORT TYPE STICK TO THE OTHER TOWNS, BUT IF YOUR A DO IT YOURSELFER, YOU'LL DO OK HERE
