This year I've stayed at 5 hotels in Waikiki, two in Seattle, and one in Portland, and this was the best of them all. I read some terrible reviews for this hotel, but for the price, I could not pass it up. Turned out to be the best choice. The hotel was conveniently located five minutes from the airport, along the coast, easy to find and navigate from. The parking was free and plentiful, which is already more than every hotel I've been to. I arrived significantly earlier than I thought I would, but they let me check in anyway, and with an upgrade since it was the only room available that early! Staff was extremely courteous and made me feel like an appreciated customer. The room was extremely clean, and while the hotel looks old, the room seemed renovated by professionals. The shower had adjustable height/settings and with hose, the tub was clean enough that I took a bubble bath. No cigarette stains, no marks, no smells, no issues. Room had high speed internet, LCD tv, while just down the hall was an indoor pool, breakfast buffet, and fitness room. The AC was a little louder than expected, but it was so comfortable I fell right asleep. The breakfast buffet was a little expensive at first, but was reasonable once I saw the prices on the rest of Maui. To think this was the cheapest option!! I am definitely staying here on my next visit.

Clean, simple, and convenient
Quick check-in and clean room. I just stayed overnight. It was Saturday night and there was some loud talking/laughing in the hall for about 2 hours, but subsided in time for sleeping. Bed was acceptable but pillows were hard lumps. Hotel grounds are nice to walk around on. Super convenient to anything in Kahului and surrounding area.

The cruise ships come into the harbor right behind the hotel. Cool to watch. Just walk out into the lawn area and past the gazebo to the beach.

Maui Beach Hotel, Kahului, Maui
Check in and out was easy and pleasant. The room AC was loud. Room was comfortable but small. Recent remodeling of the lobby area is nicely done.

The almost good, bad & really ugly.
Unfriendly check in, lousey air condintioning, turned it off every time we left the room, food lousey. Was supposed to be free breakfast and had to pay!

Nice little 2 floor hotel for
Nice little 2 floor hotel for a 1 nighter near the airport. Located Oceanside in Kahului Maui. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle, $9.50 breakfast buffet, various themed dinner buffets, EX: fri & sat dinner buffet had crab legs, tempura and prime rib all u can eat $30. The hotel has a pool, inner courtyard with patio tables and umbrellas, non smoking property (smoking area provided), internet access in room and wifi in lobby/courtyard/pool areas. Clean well maintained motel style rooms, no frills, but an economic choice for Maui. Located very close to the airport and across the street from a large shopping mall, many resto's nearby. Hotel employees are friendly and serviable. Rooms have a safe, mini fridge, hairdryer, shower & bath combination, 1 or 2 double beds. Some rooms on the 2nd floor have a balcony. We enjoyed are stay the night prior to our flight. Highly recommended for flight arrival or flight departure stays.

Maui Beach Hotel
We luckily got a room facing the inner court, which was fine as the hotel is surrounded by heavy traffic. The front desk service was the worst I experienced since many years in traveling. So the complementary flight check in doesn't exist any more, so the service handbook for the guests should be updated. Also the hotel should get rid of some their unfriendly employees at the reception. Simple unacceptable.

Shopping centers are in short distances, like Foodland, Safeway etc.. Also the central location of the hotel is ok, when you manage to get a quit room. Good luck.

Very nice friendly hotel on the bay
Room was clean and proper temperature for comfort. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was very good (especially the fresh pineapple each day) Will definitely return here on next trip to Maui!

35th Wedding Anniversary
Everything was fine. The hotel was not the ritz but it certainly was not the pitz! We will certainly use [...]again. Our flight, car and hotel all worked out just fine.People at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED [...] I THOUGHT IT WAS BETTER THAN MOST MEDIUM PRICED HOTELS, EVEYONE THERE WAS HELPFUL. THE LOCATION WAS CENTRAL IN MAUI TO EVERYTHING, BUT REMOVED FROM THE TOURISTY LOCATIONS OF THE SOUTH AND NORTHWEST. THE LOCAL SHOPPING WAS MORE REASONABLE WITH ALL THE MAINLAND CHAINS CLOSE BY-NOT ALWAYS SO IN THE OTHER AREAS OF MAUI. IF YOUR A GOLFER OR RESORT TYPE STICK TO THE OTHER TOWNS, BUT IF YOUR A DO IT YOURSELFER, YOU'LL DO OK HERE

NIGHTLIFE IS LIMITED ON MAUI, NOT TOO MUCH GOING ON.
