This year I've stayed at 5 hotels in Waikiki, two in Seattle, and one in Portland, and this was the best of them all. I read some terrible reviews for this hotel, but for the price, I could not pass it up. Turned out to be the best choice. The hotel was conveniently located five minutes from the airport, along the coast, easy to find and navigate from. The parking was free and plentiful, which is already more than every hotel I've been to. I arrived significantly earlier than I thought I would, but they let me check in anyway, and with an upgrade since it was the only room available that early! Staff was extremely courteous and made me feel like an appreciated customer. The room was extremely clean, and while the hotel looks old, the room seemed renovated by professionals. The shower had adjustable height/settings and with hose, the tub was clean enough that I took a bubble bath. No cigarette stains, no marks, no smells, no issues. Room had high speed internet, LCD tv, while just down the hall was an indoor pool, breakfast buffet, and fitness room. The AC was a little louder than expected, but it was so comfortable I fell right asleep. The breakfast buffet was a little expensive at first, but was reasonable once I saw the prices on the rest of Maui. To think this was the cheapest option!! I am definitely staying here on my next visit.

Front desk staff could be a little quicker to help guest. When there's a line, person in the back could come out and assist

Maui Beach Hotel Review
Hotel was located as close as you can get to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center, which was our main destination for the trip. Free and easily accessible parking. Fast check-in and check-out times. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was average - 1 bed, desk, bedside tables, bathroom, fridge. Amenities were more than expected with iron/ironing board, blowdryer, etc... Room was cleaned and stocked daily at convenient times for us. It's an average hotel for cheap prices. No complaints.

Rent or bring a GPS! It made our trip so much more easier and we are from Oahu and had been to Maui several times. It still saved us a lot of aimless driving and illegal U-turns.

Fantastic Price and Location
Great Location - close to airport, malls and shopping center. The hotel is located in central Maui, made it a perfect pit stop for day trips to Lahaina, Hana, and Kihei. and Haleakala.

BIG MAUI KAHUNA
first trip to maui
hotel was great- but couldnt get a free room upgrade seeing that the better rooms had a balcony.bottom rooms need an outside door access just like the top rooms to let scenery in other than through a cloudy window.hotel staff could of been alittle more friendly and younger (being it's hawaii) and need an upgraded seperate gift stop. i think they would benefit from the sales through that than the local stores stealing the profits.a variety of simple items would help.hotel needs BETTER internet sevrice that has access that doesnt keep kicking you off (expand the free wifi). hotel needs to have 24hr pool access and beaches needed cleaning.hotel needs more things to attract hotel guest to come outside and stay around the hotel more.other than that excellent first time trip and stay.would and will definatly go again.

Loved the location but the carpet was dirtier than I am used to. Had to wear slippers in the room because feet was getting dirty. But it's a good location, secured area. Would go back again.

stayed here last year,and decided to come back again,as the comfort was good.A nice view,nice staff members.they make you feel like family.In fact I met a cousin that was a security guard.The shuttle to the airport was a welcome perk;) I will make this motel my home away from home whenever I'm on Maui.

Great Stay
Very Close to the airport, rooms were clean and comfortable, lots of space. Staff was great, very personable, very helpful! food was good. The only down side I could find was the Hawaii prices overall. But knowing that prices are just normally high in Hawaii, this was a good hotel.

I stay here every time I am in Maui for work
I have never had a bad experiance here. I have stayed at this hotel several times for work. When my office booked me at another hotel I refused and asked them to put me at the Maui Beach Hotel. It is a clean, safe place with friendly staff and a convenient location.
