Comfortable, island-style hotel near the beach
A total overhaul has reinvented the peaceful, tucked-away Waikiki Resort Hotel. A surprising find, the hotel offers more for your money than meets the eye. Located a half-block from Waikiki's best swimming beach and the main shopping and dining street, Kalakaua Avenue, opportunity for entertainment abounds. Waikiki Resort Hotel is a small hotel with big amenities. Expect a 24-hour business center, mini spa and all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue restaurant onsite.

Awesome!
Awesome hotel for the price! Perfect location, right next to McDonald's! Get your breakfast before heading out to the beach :)

Great hotel & staff!
I must say the staff were great very friendly and helpful. Our room were kept very clean every morning. Hotel is just a step from the beach, shopping, & dining.

Great location
location was perfect if u want to do the downtown experience. BeAch access was awesome and then the nightlife was within walking distance. Rooms were decent. We had a few problems with the tv and power went out for a little, but they fixed it within the hour.

Clean and Simple
The hotel's room is slightly bigger than the last couple hotels we stayed. It was very clean with perfect location, only a block away from Hyatt hotel and Wakiki beach. It was noisy at time but we didn't have any problem sleeping. I was skeptical about booking this hotel at first, but overall it was a good value.

The motel is excellent. The location is perfect. Rooms are clean and they were very accommodating. We will stay here every time we travel to Waikiki.

Family vacation
The hotel was clean and in a very good location. The hotel staff were very friendly and responsive to all are needs. The pool was very relaxing and not crowded at all.McDonald just around the corner for the kids and Blazing Steaks was awesome too. Also Hawaiian Cookie Company was just around the corner as well. Also for all your needs ABC STORE is everywhere.

korean hotel
my first night the power failed and backup generators only powered elevators , the walls are paper thin, you could hear every door slamming,the location is ok but i wouldnt stay at this hotel again

its a short walk to buses or dining, i would not rent a car ,no need and the parking fees are high, you can catch a city bus for a few bucks,there are alot of homeless people around waikiki beachs ,bring sunscreen,lotion,sunglasses ,umbrella etc, if you forget ,there are 50 abc stores in every direction ,post office is a short walk at the international marketplace, atlantis lounge has great food,go before 7pm for special prices,try not to worry about planning ahead ,you can book anything imaginable when you arrive,dont buy the first souvenir you see,there are better deals just a block over if you look around,and the price is negotiable in most cases , unless you like to shop at macys or other dept stores alike

Overall Good Deal
Hotel was well located close to the beach, and the Waikiki Shopping. Room was clean and kept well. I would have liked to be able to turn on the light in the toilet / shower area without lighting up the entire room, but that was not possible. Also bath towels were very thin and cheap feeling. Still overall a good experience.

Check the prices for tours and attractions. There was a complimentary breakfast where they offered opportunities to sign up for tours. Most of those tours were way overpriced.
