Waikiki Parc Hotel

The hotel was expensive (as are most in the area) but not worth the money. We actually stayed at this hotel and the Royal Hawaiian for this trip and the Royal Hawaiian blew this one away for not that much more. The Parc seemed like it was situated at the end of an ally and we were woken up every morning by the sounds of large trucks backing up. This was the first time that I had stayed at a hotel where I thought it was skeevy and didn't want to walk around barefoot in my room (and I've stayed at my fair share of roadside motels). They tend to hype up the pool (which isn't that great) and a hotel thrown Happy Hour at the pool, but the night that we were there they bumped the HH from the pool for a private event. Later in our stay there was another private event at the pool which was jamming music so loud that we could hear the base in our room which was on the opposite side of the hotel. The elevators were annoying as well, as you needed your room key to activate the buttons. Unfortunately, the reader in the eleveator doesn't work so well, so you get in and try to push your floor but most of the time it doesn't register and the elevator ends up taking you to another floor to pick someone else up. I did give it two stars instead of one, though, as it is located near shopping and dining, so it is convienant, even if it is a little seedy. It definitly caters to the Japanese tourists as everything is dual listed in English and Japanese.

Pros: Friendly staff, helpful, clean. Cons: Bad bed, HORRIBLE pillows, worn old "modern" furniture, bad comp breakfast buffet, no wi-fi, overpriced dial up internet, pool closes very early.

We arrived very late and were quite disappointed when we saw the quality and cleanliness of the room. It was almost midnight after a full day of travel so we slept there one night and then cancelled our remaining 3 nights.

Tiny room. Stained carpet. 8th floor view of a parking garage. Air conditioning didn't work well. Hotel entrance was in an alley. Lint covered lighting in the bathroom. Overpriced and overrated on the net. Never again.

I was excited that I got a good deal for this hotel that appeared to be quite good. I was disappointed. The hotel is very old. Carpets in the room and hallways are dirty. Furnishings in the room and bathroom as very dated. My bathroom was not clean-- which was the worst part. There were hairs on the sink counter as well as a dirty towel with hairs hanging on the shower pole. I sat at the desk to eat dinner, and the desk top was very dirty-- there were coffee stains and other stains. The coffeemaker also clearly had not been washed. The location is great, bot otherwise, this hotel needs alot of work! I would NOT come back. I would not recommend.

★ハレクラニのファンですが、仕事での滞在に姉妹ホテルということで選びました。正直、その価格差に期待はしていなかったのですが、モダンなインテリア、ハイセンスなデザインのインテリア小物など、すべてがとてもアーバンスタイルで、自分の普段の好みにマッチしてとても滞在を楽しめました。ハワイでこのスタイリッシュなテイストは、ほかにないと思います！　部屋はコンパクトですが、清潔で、オーシャンフロントの部屋にしたこともあり、窓を開き、海を見ながらＰＣで仕事していると、最高に気持ちがよかったです。ダブルベッドで 人使いだと、部屋も十分ゆったりつかえます。従業員はいい意味でも悪い意味でもそっけないです。朝、夜ともに前を通っても挨拶されることもなく、自分的にはうっとうしくなくてよかったですが、ちょっと冷たい気がしました。不慣れな人には話しかけづらく感じるかも。金曜日夜のパーティなどはとてもいい感じで、ビジネスセンターの使い勝手もよくて、本当にビジネスマンにはうってつけのホテルだと思います。コインランドリーが壊れていたのが計算外で、それは、こちらの申し込み時に、事前に知らせてほしいと思いました。ＮＯＢＵでの食事も日本より入りやすいし、安い？し、大人ウケするホテルです。立地は最高だし、撮影や取材で俳優やスタッフに利用されるのも納得しました。部屋はせまくなりますが、子連れでも問題ないし、とにかく、おすすめのホテルです。

街中なのでアクセスしやすくて便利。部屋もシンプル＆クリーンで無駄に物がなくてよかった。ロビースタッフの対応はいまいちだが、コネクトルームにいるスタッフの対応はとてもよかった。

1年前に宿泊した時と比べてそれほど変わりがなくよいと持っていた。特にインターネット接続に関する質問には直ぐに係員を送ってくる等良い対応だった。 ただし、朝食はいただけない。バイキングを否定するものではないが、とても宿泊者を大事にしているとは思えず、ホテルの都合でバイキングにしているとしか思えなかった。 たとえば、 １．日本人向けに和食の用意もあったが飯と味噌汁が端っことに分かれているため他の人とぶつかりながら皿に欲しいものを取らねばならず不親切極まりない。普通は、おかずを取り、飯と汁を取るので ないだろうか。 ２．クロワッサンとデニッシュのみでは物足りない。ハワイは食パンがまずいから最初から外したあるのだろうか。ウエイトレスはクロワッサンやデニッシュが嫌なら飯を食えといったが飯にはジャムはぬれない。 ３．スクランブルエッグだけなのも寂しい。 ４．ポテトは個人的には好きな味であったが、朝からにんにくでソテーしたものを好まない人も多いのでは。 ５．食器が個性的な形でナイフとフォークが使いにくい。Nobの食器ををそのまま使っているからだろうか。がさがさした雰囲気のバイキングでは食器が浮いている。 個人的には好きなホテルなので今回の変貌は悲しかった。次は別のホテルに　変えると思う。

中心部にあるので、散策などには大変便利だった。ルームメークも、コーヒーメーカが使いにくいという質問カードを残しておいたところ、とても丁寧に回答のメッセージを残して頂いた。ホテルロビーには共有インターネットがあり、時間の制限はあったがコーヒーサービスもあった。フロントスタッフはとてもフレンドリーだったが、”なんの木”に行く方法を聞いたところ、知らなかったためかその場で何も調べることなく「タクシーで行くしかないからお金もかかり、結構遠い」と即答され、滞在時間も短かったのであきらめたが、帰国してから 共バスで行けたことが分かり、もう少しコンシェルジュスキルを上げてほしかった。
