Budget-friendly hotel near Waikiki’s best shopping and dining
Waikiki Gateway Hotel offers friendly island spirit, budget prices and a great location in Waikiki, perfect for traveling friends and couples. Located near a peaceful park that leads to the beach and the crossroads of Waikiki's two main thoroughfares, Kalakaua and Kuhio Avenues, Waikiki Gateway is positioned for entertainment in every direction. Find Waikiki's upscale designer boutiques across the street at the Ala Moana Center. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, business center and 24-hour front desk.

Great location and kitchenette was a plus
The hotel was conveniently located and easy to get to, but the street noise could still be heard even on the 9th floor. While not on the beach it was just a short walk away. The kitchenette was a great benefit. The room was a nice size and pretty clean, but a bit rundown. Overall, I would recommend it.

Great Business Amenities
The Waikiki Gateway Hotel is very well located, only a few mintes from the beach and many great shops (which my wife will a test to). The hotel has a great business area on the third floor where you can check your emails, send email and look thinks up on the internet (all at no additional charge). Our room was very comfortable and had a great view. The hotel does not have a dining facility, but there are many good eating places within walking distance. I found the hotel staff very helpful on all shifts. I had rented a car at the airport and the hotel valet service was very friendly and answered all my questions on how to get somewhere. Over all it was a very good week at the hotel.

Great Hotel
The Gateway Hotel was a very pleasant stay for me. The hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. I would stay there again anytime! The room was very clean too. Continental breakfast was delightful!

affordable,conviniet and friendly hotel
Waikiki Gateway Hotel staff were very courteous to cumtomers.Had our room available before the check-in time. Very convinient location to the heart of waikiki...beach,shops,restaurants bus access,rent a car service and got an excellent view of the ocean and downtown waikiki; had balcony on both side of the room to view all angles of waikiki. For the price it was worth it;affordable for Honolulu price.complimentary breakfast every mornng was a plus.Cleanliness was also very good .

budget car rental was ablock away. city bus stop was right in the hotel doorstep beach was about a mile away shopping and dining was very accessible

Good Location
The hotel room was adequate with two double beds. The bathroom was clean. Only two sets of towels were available for the three of us, but they supplied another set upon request. The continental breakfast was okay, but skimpy.

Hôtel bien situé disposant d'un niveau d'équipement convenable pour un prix correct. A noter cependant une literie ayant beaucoup vieilli. Je recommande cependant.

この値段でインターネットサービス料金が１日＄10は高い。 空港へ友人を迎えに行こうと当日５時間前にシャトルの予約をいれようとしたら乗れないって何だかね。。。 空港シャトルを使うなら予約は早めに。それからタクシーを使う場合はホテルマンに頼まずに自分でタクシーを拾った方が＄１０安く空港へ行ける。 今回は友人とのシェアだったから良かったけど、よほどの事がない限り一人じゃ利用しないと思う。 でも、初めてのハワイで滞在中はすごい楽しかった。 特にWest と East最高！

価格がとても安いのでどんなお部屋か不安でしたが、アメニティも揃っておりお部屋もフロントもきれいにされていて清潔さがありました。 フロントの方も日本語を話す方がいますので、安心です。 ベッドメーキングの方の細かい配慮に、とても感激しました。 顔を合わせていませんが、とても嬉しく感謝しています。 次回もここへぜひ泊まりたいたいと思います。
