Good, cheap hotel.

Not so many options in breakfast. So slow internet room. So close to Waikiki beach. Cheap, good.

Great for business/vacation combo

The room is about what you'd expect for the price. Basic but clean. Coffee in the room is only complimentary the first day which is kind of cheap. Internet access was excellent. Location is perfect if attending meetings at the Hawaii Conference center. Easy walk (10-12 minutes) to both conference center and the beach. Restaurant in the hotel (Nick's) was closed but Vito's across the street has a very inexpensive bar.

Sad

I would say the Front desk was the best part of my experience. The cleaning staff did not restock the room each day. The hotel general apperence was not well kept. The room was outdated and kind of unwelcoming. I would not return there or recommend or recommend anybody else from our company staying there.

Wonderful, Comfortable excellant staff

Very comfortable, like home feeling, helpful polite staff, clean. Good location, right on bus line, by Waikiki main strip, easy walk to beach. Great amenities...pool, internet business room, laundry room, continental breakfast with view of city, ABC store. Garage with valet service, car rentals a block away.

Some good, some bad

Good. 1) Great location - Walking distance of almost everything in Waikiki 2) Price - Low price 3) Friendly Staff except for one valet guy. Bad. 1) Parking - $15/day Valet only. 2) Small, outdated rooms. Small TV. Not enough outlets, loud in-window A/C. 3) For a hotel that advertises its high speed wireless internet, I was more than extremely dissappointed. No wireless at all. Connection was measured at nearly 28.8 kbps speed! I thought it was just my room so I went to the office center, it was worst. Took 10 minutes to load Yahoo.com! I was there for 8 days and it was all the same.

Great location for the price

Hotel was at a great location within walking distance to part of the Wakiki Beach and lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was okay (2 full size beds or 3 twin size beds) but acceptable for the price. There is a fridge but no microwave or kitchen as advertised. There is wired internet in the room but you have to borrow a LAN cable from the front desk (no charge if you returned it). Parking is underground and valet only. There is a convenient ABC store on the 1st floor in case you need to purchase gift or forget anything. No fitness room. There is pool, a spa room, and washer/dryer on the 4th floor. Business center and internet room with computer on the 3rd floor.

Good for the Price

An older hotel (probably 70s), but still nice. We ended up upgrading to the penthouse from the room we purchased on orbitz. Comfy decor, nice bathtub, free wifi (note that was for penthouse rooms only, the other rooms had the choice of wired or using the computer rooms). Only complaint about the room is that the iPod radio is too small to fit the case of the iPod Touch. It was a quarter mile walk to the beach through a nice park. Right next to the main drag of shopping, food and bars, so very easy to stumble home after a good time. I would stay there again.

Gateway to great holiday

Very nice hotel, a lttle far from the action at Waikiki Beach but nice enough walk. Staff polite but obscure, ABC shop in foyer handy for milk, bread coffee and pool and view from room very good. Room a bit smelly from water damage carpet but bearable.
