Perfect

I stayed at this hotel for my 30th birthday with a group of friends and it was perfect for what we needed. We needed a place with a good centralized location that could fit 4 people, in separate beds, comfortably, and it did just that. The staff was friendly and not obtrusive like many other hotels and there were zero problems. They even had beach towels so we didn't have to go buy them or take room in our suitcase to bring one. Highly recommended especially for a group of friends looking to raise a ruckus in Hawaii!

Never Going There Again

Staff at front desk seemed miserable. Line of unhappy customers before and after me then included us! Rooms like dorm style even worst. With that in mind bunk beds, really! No worth it, embarrassing, never again! Not to mention parking fee for an underground garage for like 10 cars, pathetic!

smoke and mirrors

The only thing good about staying here is location. If all you want to do is explore wakiki for a great deal this is the place for you. If you want to explore the whole island of Oahu you might want to explore elsewhere. You walk in and see an awesome very modern lobby then you go up to your room and it is extremely outdated like late 80's. You call them and ask is parking available they will say yes. But what they won't tell you us that it is valet parking only. That's $25 a day plus your $10 resort fee. You wind up paying $180 for a 5night stay. if you want to go and explore all of Oahu do your research and find a better place to stay

Overpriced, but great location

It was really lovely to be a quick walk away from the beach, but for as fancy as this hotel looks on the outside, it wasn't worth the money. Wi-Fi was a daily cost of $15 for basic speeds, parking was another $15, and the room was unimpressive and looked like a motel on the inside. I will say the balcony views were fairly good, though, and it was nice to be so near to a lot of restaurants and bars. Next time, I think I'll just rent a vacation home on the north shore.

Cleaniness

The hotel looks clean every where, but it bears an old kind of smell once you step through the door, and especially once you step into the room.

Horrible hotel

Location is great but the hotel it self is good for the price but not worth it when you're in Hawaii! Also check the beds before sleeping!

good choice, great value

The hotel got a good location, only 5 min to walk to waikiki beach, 10 min to a shopping center. There's also convenient stores and public traffic stations nearby. In addition, the room is very tidy and cozy. The staff at the front desk is also very nice. They arranged a two double bed room for my family, which is exactly what i request when i booked the hotel. Overall, if you want to save money but don't want to feel uncomfortable, getway is a wise choice!

definitely needs updating

very old hotel. lobby and elevators have been updated, but that's it. pictures that they show online were not an example of the actual rooms. bathrooms are probably original. hotel staff was very nice, but not very informative. even the lady at the information desk gave us incorrect information. we had to go across the street to a different hotel's concierge to get the info we needed. very disappointed
