Overall, it's a great stay and would definately prefer to choose the same hotel and highly recommend the same to others. Perfect location, very cordial staff and great service.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
You donot need car rental for entire stay due to the excellent location of the hotel. You might need for few days only, try the car rental with 'Enterprise' located at Seaside avenue at a short walk for great deals instead of 'Hertz' located inside the hotel.

My wife and I had a great time at the Waikiki Marriott Hotel. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were cleaned nicely everday. The pool was very clean and they are right across form the beach. i would definetly go back and I would recommend the Hotel to anyone.

Rent a car and drive around the island. You can see everything and don't have to pay for tour guides to show you what you can find for your self.

Great Location
Stayed for about 7 nights. Best part is that the hotel is loaded in a central location. All high end and regular shops as well as mall is at walking distance. Beach is just across. Public transportation is just next door. Staff was helpful in arranging for the various trips. Room was very neat and clean. Has a small refrigerator in the room. Airport to hotel taxi cab fare is about $40.00

Honeymoon!
If you like the action spot, Waikiki Hotel is the place to stay, but the rooms are very small. but we lined up excursions for all 5 days and didn't spend alot of time in the room. A beautiful hotel, make sure you let a oceanview room too!

Good location not so helpful staff
Would try to find a more spacious hotel next time. It feels like u come out of your room elevators and you are almost on the road. Staff not that helpful. They just do enough to get by.

Short but Sweet Stay
Our stay was short as we primarily spent our vacay in Maui, but wanted the non-stop flight back from Honolulu, so we spent 2 nights here and were very happy. A small list of why we enjoyed this hotel: * Great price (<$200/night) * Superb beach location * Fabulous balcony (nice size, shape, & chairs) * Partial ocean view = ocean view for what other resorts call partial view * Lots of hotel shops and restaurants * TheBus stops right next to hotel * Clean * Up to date and well kept I would have given 4.5 stars, but that was not an option.

The bar is the best
Loved the casual bar overlooking Waikiki beach and the friendly staff there. It's pretty much the reason we stay here.

Hawaii Vacation!
For my husband and I this was the first time to Hawaii and when we come back we are going to stay at the Marriott in Waikiki. We used the concerigere service and they were very helpful...we arrived early and had a late flight out, but no problem they have a room you can use to rest and get ready. We saw Pearl Harbor, did the Polynisian Cultural Center, checked out the International Market, and snorkling. I truly recommend this hotel! Easy access to many things and pick up for most all events.

Great Escape!
Truly enjoyed my stay! Great location on Waikiki. The pool area was perfect. Good fitness facility, larger, nice room with a glimpse of the ocean and beach. Friendly staff.
