Wakiki Beach Condos- good location, mediocre management
Good place to be if you want to be in Honolulu near the beach and other action. Just a short walk to many things! Rooms were good although not extravagant, views were good. Handy if you want a kitchen and washer/dryer in the room suite so you can save money or just avoid eating out all the time. Pool on roof was nice. Other amenities were lacking or absent. No restaurant, although there are plenty in the area of a wide range. No internet except to plug in the internet cable. WiFi was "present" but completely unusable for all 8 days we were there. Management seemed to be disorganized. They mixed up our rooms and got upset because we didn't contact them later although there apparently was no problem to deal with by then. Strange. The place is undergoing a refurbishing so will be more pleasant in the future. You can at least feel at home there with the kitchen, etc. Good price for the room, too, makes it worth looking into.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Go to the Royal Hawaiian mall for many good upscale restaurants. Two blocks away. For a good pre-dinner experience do the "booze cruise" at Waikiki Beach before dinner at sunset. Beautiful water, sky, great wave action, and whales build up an appetite.

Needs some work
For a first time user of condos, I would not recommend this place. The booking was for four, with one room (as in one large room) and all that was given was a bed and cushions for my two children. the web site did not explain the difference very well. When I arrived I was greeted and my name checked off a sheet and told my room was unlocked, and the keys in the room. Nothing was explained about the condo workings, car parking, were or were anything was. When I got to my room there was a sheet of paper to explain a couple things and that was all. As for the room various the cost, draws were broken, door locks on the balcony did not work right and the kitchen smelled like some left food in the disposal for a month. I know for in the future one condo complex not worth going back too.

Waikiki Beach Condo
This was a business trip and the condo was perfect for what I needed. There was only a small issue of getting signed in after 6:00 p.m., but that was resolved and I ended up with a nicer room with a better view of Waikiki than I had expected. This would also be a practical and inexpensive condo for tourists as it is in a convenient location for restaurants and only about three blocks to the beach.

family vacation
Overall great location; if there is something that can be improved are the air conditioners. They were dirty and noisy. Also, the vacum provided didnt work and stunck, since we have to maintain the place, it would be nice to have serviceable stuff. For the price, I would certainly stay again. The maid was great.

Great Extended Stay
I travel for a living and have had it to here with no refrigerator or at best a teeny tiny fridge in your so called luxury hotels. This is not a luxury hotel! What it is, is a great home away from home. It is a furnished apartment complete with all of the necessities. A full kitchen, washer and dryer, flat screen TV with dish network, wired internet and room to move around. The manager even offered to pick us up at the hotel we were transferring from. Also a great location for the beach and shopping. If it’s the comforts of home you are missing in your hotel stays this place is for you!

A Hidden gem!
Sit right back and you'll hear a tale! I have been in HI on business for the last 1 1/2 years, and have been here before on vacation and business. The saddest part was I never knew about this place! Right in the heart of Waikiki (the international market is right outside your door). The rooms as clean, spacious and newly appointed. Full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, A/C, pool deck at the Penthouse level, and a fantastice price! Sure, you don't get the 5 star treatment at the Hilton or Marriot, but you don't pay 5 star prices either. The staff was wonderful, location is great, the only caveat is that they are remodeling the hallways, etc. A great family vacaton spot!

Affordable Condo with some downfalls
The location was perfect for us- just two blocks from the main beach road. The room had a decent view of an inlet and golf course and a pretty night view of the lights of Honolulu. The downside was the fact that the room was pretty aged and the A/C wasn't that great considering it was a window unit. Overall, it was a great stay and for the price, you can't beat it. Just beware that you are not heading for luxury when you rent this condo.

Hotel having traffic noise problem.
Problems: 1. Hotel is near Alawai St., even though I was on 19th floor, I still could not stand the noise. It made me difficult to slep. 2. Hotel provided some towels, but of cheapest quality, it felt like rag. You can get decent bath towel at JC Penny or Sears for under $10. I think the management should not scrimp on this. 3. The bedroom and living room are smelt old. A new coat paint or some cheap cabinet would make it acceptable. 4. I had to kill some ants a few times. I would rather take my chance next somewhere else.
