Trump International Hotel Waikiki Beach Walk

I've stayed at both the Halekulani and Kahala. IMO the rooms, service and amenities at the Trump are the best out of the three in Oahu.

Staff was super cordial, helpful, friendly, and went the extra mile to make us happy. We actually felt like family members there because the people were so friendly. The bed was terrific. I slept the best I've slept in a long time. The location was a block from the beach and the views were terrific. The food was pricey but delicious. There are less expensive options within a block. We hope to come here again.

This was the best trip I have ever been on. I met so many great people over there including the bell man. He was so caring and his hospitality made us feel right at home. The staff was also amazing. Every trip to Honolulu will include the Trump hotel from now on. A must stay when you visit the island.!!

This was a wonderful stay in every sense of the word! When we arrived, we were greeted right away with the traditional lei, the valet was very efficient in taking our luggage out of the car, and all baggage was brought up to the room for us. Check in was a breeze, with no waiting time whatsoever. The room itself was very cozy, the bed very comfortable, and the bathroom was all marble, a very luxurious experience. The room had a small kitchen, fully equipped with microwave, oven, plates, silverware, and everything you could possibly need while on vacation, especially when travelling with a 9-month old baby. Free wi-fi was included, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel has a nice pool on the 6th floor, with free towels, sun lotion, and water provided. Although the pool was a little on the small side, it was never crowded (even on Memorial Day weekend) and allowed us to enjoy it to the fullest. One nice touch was the pool service, where they brought us free smoothies (they were delicious!!!) There are a few restaurants on the premises, and the food was delicious, but very overpriced, there are better dining options available on the Waikiki strip. The beach is just down the street (a short 3 minute walk), and the concierge had free beach bags with towels, water, sun lotion and snacks. All being said, what really stood out was the incredible service we received throughout our 5-night stay. The valet was super-quick ($30 per day), room service was second to none, and all the staff was very helpful and friendly 100% of the time. The concierge was great at suggesting activities, such as luaus and boat cruises (Paradise Cove Luau is HIGHLY recommended), and were able to help us make an informed decision, rather than trying to "sell" us something. All their suggestions were worthwhile, and we never regretted anything that they recommended. Again, we felt like we made many new friends, and everybody went out of their way to make us feel welcome, they even directed us to some local restaurants where we could experience true Hawaiian cuisine (you will not be able to have authentic hawaiian food at the strip). This was by far the best hotel experience we encountered, and we will definitely go back!

2nd time staying at the property and we will return again in another couple months. Great location, fabulous accommodations and top tier service without the pompous/arrogant style typically associated with such a quality hotel. If you are willing to pay the price, which isn't that bad, it's well worth it!

We wanted to do it up for our 25th anniversary and this hotel delivered the best experience we've ever had in a hotel stay! The location is across the street from Waikiki beach -- short of being on the beach - it's a great location. We had a junior suite with a view of the beach, so that was good enough. The hotel staff is very friendly -- especially the folks at the concierge desk -- they're very knowlegeable and helpful. The room is clean and bed very comfortable -- the pillows were sooo soft, which I liked, but my husband would've liked them a bit firmer. Amenities were great -- good food and service at the hotel restaurants, but a bit pricey!

Our stay at the Trump was just awesome! Everyone there is very friendly, I've never met friendlier people before. This was the perfect honeymoon destination, but it was made even better at the Trump, we even got a free bottle of Champagne just for telling them it was our honeymoon. The room service was outstanding, very clean! We're not used to being spoiled so much. This is a true 5 star hotel. The high price was worth it.
