    great hotel deal

pretty pleased with the Sheraton Waikiki however the bathroom tile needs to be clean and re whitened some of it was black, hope it wasnt mole and the tub surface was very wornout , color was brown ; the bathroom should be spotless. The hotel location and amenities are great; the room was quite spacious; would choose to stay at the Sheraton Waikiki again!

    Sheraton Waikiki

Can't beat the location in the heart of Waikiki. Pools are nice but the Waikiki beaches are a bit on the crowded side. Mandatory resort fee per room is a hidden charge even if you don't need the parking or internet.

    FAMILY VACATION

Breakfast was expensive if you didnt pay for the discounted tickets [...]. The room upgrade was good for the wife and I, but didnt look much different than the kids. Shopping along the strip and staying out after dark was good. We saw mimes doing their thing, but I think the best part was the musical duo of the girls with the guitar and violin. They were great and played for tips. The many shops along the way with a short trip to the mall was reasonably priced. Took the submarine tour, be military or retired to get the discount or it is over priced. Loved the different cultural demonstrations just outside the hotel. You can walk anywhere and enjoy. Would like to take the hiking trip, but just didnt have enough time. Had to spend a day at the pool. Many opportunities for family time and alone time. Will stay there again.

Military members, retired or active duty... Ensure you show your I.D. Card to get the best discounts for all the attractions. Those that dont have these benefits, a rental car and a map makes the trip just that much better. You can park the car at the hotel for free. Just tell the front desk you have a car. That in itself can save you money. Hotel employees were respectfull and always willing to help. My vacation although expensive was fantastic... Thank you.

Since the rooms have refrigerators and we had a car, we were able to stock up on a few breakfast and lunch items from the grocery store (Safeway). This saved $$$$ and provided lots of flexibility for our day trips.

    Waikiki hotel

Nice hotel from the outside but the room was just ok because of the not nice bathroom. It s a very busy hotel so the beautiful infinity pool was overcrowed all the time which makes it a little dirty .The situation was great for shopping, walking around and enjoying the beach! Food at the hotel restaurants was delicious!!!We will go back only if we get a really good deal.

    Good enough but not great.

Some pros of the Sheraton Waikiki - lots of fast elevators, very friendly & helpful staff (one hotel employee refused a cash tip saying he was here to help), and the location is great for beach access and shopping/dining. Some of the cons - both pools seemed smaller than advertised, pool area chairs fill up fast, lots of Japanese tourists.

Get a trolly pass - this way you can get around all of Waikiki easily. The trolley's only run one way, but they run frequently during the day and early evening.

This hotel was great! I did a lot of online research before we booked. So glad we chose the Sheraton. The veiws are some of the best on Waikiki beach. You will never be bored for sure.World class shopping and activities all within walking distance. Anything that is not you can get transportation to,usually for free! WE did a few tours but finally decidied to just Hang out at the hotel. Just so beautiful and relaxing. Would stay here again!

    Unbeatable location, perfect honeymoon!

The hotel is in the perfect location, right in the middle of waikki beach. The amenities are awesome, and the staff is more than helpful. When staff found out it was our honeymoon, they upgraded us to an ocean view room. They also gave us a bottle of champagne. The only down side if any, is that the rooms aren'tuch to look at, but that disnt really matter because take a step onto the lani and you will have all the view you need! Overall we enjoyed ourselves. The Cleveland's

    Unbeatable Location for the price

The location of the Sheraton Waikiki is unbeatable. Most of the other hotels are not on the oceanfront. This was our first trip to Hawaii and we had a great time.
