Great Location - Pro Bowl Weekend

Pool was wonderful. Views of the ocean make this location a great place to relax. Hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. Never received any of the fresh fruit that they said would be available daily.

Sheraton Waikiki

The overall hotel experience was outstanding except for a few small issues. I did not get my water refills in two of my 5 nights stay, and it took two days to get a shower cap that we order over the phone. Besides that, the Hotel was in mint condition, clean confortable rooms, great dining options and luxury ambience...

Sheraton Waikiki

Of all the hotels along Waikiki, the Sheraton Waikiki is the closest to the water and easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. This made it especially nice for my 94 year old Mom. The Staff at the Sheraton was wonderful! We had several servers at the bountiful breakfast buffet and each was efficient, friendly, profession and "at our service." Everyone without exception made it a point to ensure we had the best possible experience. I can't give an objective comparison, as we always stay at the Sheraton Waikiki. The partial ocean (including Diamond Head) is worth the extra cost. The sunrise and sunset along with the sound of the ocean is truly enjoyable and memorable.

Great pool

This was a lucky find in that the hotel has a great pool right near the elevators that overlooks the ocean. Roll out of bed, stumble to elevator, stumble out and fall into an amazing pool experience. In the pool, I actually met someone who had changed hotels after 2 nights because of the pool! Also good is easy access to Waikiki Beach. No need to cross a road etc. Just go down a few steps, walk along a concrete path for about 70 meters and then on to the sand. Hotel staff were gracious and helpful. No complaints. But if you don't like seeing guests in swimsuits in the elevators and in lobby then this hotel is not for you. I loved it-it reminded me that I was on vacation and in Hawaii.

Sheraton

We were there for one night, the view was amazing, I am not much of a city person but the hotel is secluded enough to be enjoyable. The only thing was the checkout times were quoted differently from different people.

Nice Time

The hotel was very nice. The only negative was that there wasn't a beach front to the hotel, only a sea wall. You can easily get to the beach but it is crowded and there isn't a dedicated area. The hotel was helpful in planning activities and large enough that the buses stop there to pick you up.

Nicely remodeled

I have family in Hawaii, so I've traveled regularly to Waikiki for the past 20 years. In this time, I've seen the Sheraton Waikiki evolve from a basic hotel with a great beach-front location to a really nice hotel with a great beach-front location. The infinity pool along with other additions and amenities make this place great. Their hotel bar "Rum Fire" is a nice addition to the resort and reasonable during happy hour. Their other bar, "The Edge" is a major disappointment! It's ridiculously overpriced! Try a number of its beach-front bar competitors for good food, drinks and scenery at a far better price!
