Overview

The towering, gleaming Sheraton Waikiki lets you savor so much of what makes Oahu special. It's a centrally located resort where guests snorkel, encounter dolphins and admire sunsets with Mai Tais at hand. The only difficult aspect of staying at the Sheraton Waikiki is that after pampering yourself with spa treatments and poolside massages, it can be awfully difficult to leave.

This resort is not only perfect for vacations; it's also an ideal place for wedding receptions, business meetings and other functions. In fact, it has the largest ballroom of any Oahu hotel.

Hints and tips

Helumoa Pool is superb for recreation and relaxation. This massive swimming facility is actually a network of connected pools and resort grounds also include a volleyball court, a tall water slide, two whirlpools and prime views of Waikiki Beach. If you feel hungry and thirsty after swimming, you might sample tapas and rum while sitting on the patio at RumFire, one of this hotel's distinguished eateries.

Guests can view cooking demonstrations, take ukulele lessons and sign up for historical tours of Waikiki.

Not a Fan

Would not recommend Wed, Dec 9, 2015
Last stayed here when renovations wee in progress. I was anxious to see the final result but am not a fan. The hotel has turned the first level into a mall and was very crowded. Perhaps the most annoying part is that they charge daily fees for all chairs around the front edges of the pool. They all sat empty due to no one paying. I thought this was perhaps a Waikiki thing but I did not see similar fees t other hotels. View of Diamond head were great and the 3D pool light show and pool area (aside form chairs) were nice.

Honeymoon Hotel

Would recommend Tue, Jun 23, 2015
We stayed at Sheraton for Honeymoon. I like the pool, but there are many guests but they are all nice. It was clean but really small room like any other hotel in Waikiki. Everything was clean, didn't try any food in hotel (looked pricy), and many local food stores to try out. Cleaning service was amazing. Thanks

Would recommend Tue, May 26, 2015
Staff - wonderful! From Check in to check out, the staff were friendly and provided us with tips on local areas. Room - comfy and we got our requested 2 beds and they provided complimentary water daily. Pool - one of the reasons we wanted to stay here. It's beautiful, and you can reserve the chairs on the pool for the day!

Great for first time trip to Hawaii

Would recommend Fri, May 22, 2015
Hotel is right on the beach. It's close to shopping and restaurants. M 10 yoa loved the pool. The room had average cleanliness, but the bed linen were fresh and comfortable. When there is noise in the hall, you will definitely notice it. The in-room safe was handy and the shower had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Overall it was a nice stay for five nights.

my window view was of the parking structure. not so happy with that but the stay was okay. I was not happy with staff, when I called for room service and requested certain additional items I was met with poor and mis communications.

Relaxing Trip

Would recommend Wed, Feb 4, 2015
My husband and I don't swim , but they still charge you $30. per day for the pool service. The bed is too soft/ too old. We like the most is the location. Lots of restaurants within the walking distance.
