Unbeatable location for the price

On the third night of staying, we found ants crawling inside the bathroom. The hotel only offer to spray the problem out and not trying to exchange room for us.

Lots of Street Noise!

The hotel lobby, dining and pool areas are very nice, the rooms are adequate, although somewhat dated...if you choose to stay here, be sure to ask for a room on the side of the hotel away from the World Marketplace!! It is VERY NOISY!!

Decent hotel for the money.

We've been to Oahu at least 10 times, but this was our first experience at this hotel. The hotel has a great location in the heart of Waikiki and just across the street from the beach. It is a decent property and VERY well priced. The rooms are of average size, clean, nice lobby, very comfortable bed and the staff is friendly staff, but if you're looking for an upscale property, this isn't the hotel for you. This is an average property, but a great deal for a family on a budget. The negatives would be that it hasn't been upgraded in a while, there's no valet service and the property itself is in need of some TLC. We were initially given a room in their largest/high rise wing, but the room smelled of smoke and the decor was stuck in the 1970's (old nicked furniture and a typical motel type bathroom). We requested to change rooms (it was almost midnight when we arrived) so they gave us a much nicer room overlooking the pool. The decor and bathroom was a bit nicer and it was great to hear the entertainment each night from our balcony. None of the rooms have an ocean view, so don't expect it, even if it's in the room description. Overall, it was a nice experience and again a GREAT VALUE, but next time, I'll probably go back across the street to the Outrigger Waikiki for an extra $35 dollars a night.

Good location for the price.

Overall experience was quite satisfying because I had gotten my room for a good price. The best part about this hotel is the proximity to the beach. The hotel is dated but if you get a good deal its a good place to stay. There could be very bad rooms specially facing the garage. Try and at least get the pool facing room and you should be fine. Elevator noise is prominent in my room specially at night.

Hope it helps someone

The hotel has a great location. It is very close to Waikiki beach and other happening spots. The rooms are adequate. It is a very noisy hotel due to a large floating population and wait times at the front desk can be very long. Parking fees are very high and need to be rationalised
