Great location, friendly staff
Shuttle from airport to the Hotel took 2 hours (recommend taxi-ing it for a few more $'s unless you are up to a Hotel scenic tour after a long flight). Hotel in a great location. Lanai Rooms are small but adequate for a short stay (1-4 days). Pool is a nice size, plenty of room and chairs available - lacks atmosphere tho, but then the beach is only across the road. Nice views from the pool and from the room of the mountains and the ocean. Overall, The Park Hotel was clean, friendly, excellent location and we will stay there again on our next wander of the Islands.

Lulu's next door makes the best breakfasts. Wonderful sunsets. Excellent Gold and Jewellery store 2 blocks from Hotel on main road. Zoo across the road is worth visiting. Take a leisurely morning walk to the left and go along the boardwalk and back thru the park. Beach across the road excellent for all ages.

WORK BUSINESS TRIP more fun than it should have been
The room was just what you need to be RIGHT at the beach in Oahu. Overlooking Diamond Head with the morning sunrise, and a great view of the Crystal blue ocean from your balcony/Lanai. Small in size, but who stays in their room on vacation. Coffee for breakfast, or you can visit Starbucks next to the hotel if you need more than Hawaiian flavored coffee. Cable TV, Great central air - not that you need it coz most rooms have a great cross breeze and face the park and diamond head. Ocean view rooms have the direct sun in the afternoon so the Air works great in those rooms. High floors are best - above - 10 as the LuLu's restaurant/nightclub gets loud over the weekends, but you can't hear much when you on a higher floor. Close to all restaurants/clubs/bars/hot spots, and THE BUS stops right in front of the hotel. Cheaper and better than a rental car-Parking $20 - but in & out privilages. Have fun ALOHA

Great View
The Park Shore was very comfortable, the view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head was fantastic. We only stayed overnight, but were pleased with the accomodations and friendly staff. The lady that checked us in even remembered me from a conversation I had upgrading the room three weeks prior to our arrival. The rooms show a little wear and tear, but I'd be happy to stay there again.

it might have been more then a leaky air contioner
the hotel was in a really good location, the only thing bad i would have to say about was that during our stay the the ceiling was leaking from the aircontionning which got worse, the staff only offerd extra towels, after another complaint and a friendlyer staff we got a new room.

Location
We loved the hotel. The room could have been larger, the AC could have been quieter but for the money and the tremendous location I would not have chosen any other hotel on the beach.

Great Value for the Money in Waikiki
The Hotel room was clean, hotel staff helpful, there was a nice view of the beach from the pool. Valet parking was nice to have but would like to have had regular free parking available. For the cost it was a great value and we could easily walk to the beach, the Zoo is across the street as is nice park and boardwalk. Trolley's and buses can get you around so easily tht you hardly need a car at all. Room had a microwave, frig, coffee maker. They are remodeling and getting WeFi over the next year throughout the hotel, At present it is only on the first 3 floors. There is a travel agent in the lobby that was very helpful and you can walk through the lobby to a convenience store without going outside.

Very receptive to requests
The Park Shore was a greater experience than we had expected for our money. From the first night we arrived, all the staff was very helpful and willing to work with us. There was on particular staff member that did seem to want to help but we reported her separately and did not have any further dealings with her. The room was a little small, but adequate. We liked the idea of having a small frig in the room to store our goodies.Additional towels were provided on request and beach towels were also available to check out. The staff was very cordial when we requested our car and were very prompt in bringing it to us. The hotel location is perfect and the restaurant was just a beautiful setting. We will definately stay at the Park Shore again on our next Hawaii visit.
