it might have been more then a leaky air contioner

the hotel was in a really good location, the only thing bad i would have to say about was that during our stay the the ceiling was leaking from the aircontionning which got worse, the staff only offerd extra towels, after another complaint and a friendlyer staff we got a new room.

Great Location

The value is unbeatable for downtown Waikiki. The location is close to dining, sight seeing and the ocean/boardwalk. The size of the room was somewhat small for a kind bed accommadation but it suited our needs traveling as a couple. The restaurants were great and free WIFI was a bonus. Overall good value, clean room, great location, and friendly Aloha staff.

Nice Place to stay

The Park Shore was a very nice place to stay. It offered clean comfortable rooms, very helpful staff, and a nice restaurant on the third floor. We had a partial ocean view room that had great views of the beach from two different locations. The Park Shore did not offer any furniture in which to place your suit case on while staying there. This made it a little harder to keep your clothes in some kind of order. The only closet was in the tv unit and it was really too small to use. The hotel was close to everything including the Zoo, a huge shopping area and restaurants. If you wanted to go a distance away the bus picked up right outside the hotel entrance.

Location Location Location

The Park Shore is an older hotel that requires a little refurbishing, i.e. replace mats in elevators, paint concrete area around the swimming pool area, and minor touch-ups here & there. Our room was clean and comfortable and the A/C worked well. Location is the main selling feature of this hotel. Your directly across the road from Waikiki Beach with an unobstructed view of the both the Beach Area, Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo & the Diamond Head Crater. View from the third floor pool overlooks the Ocean & Diamond Head. A number of bus routes stop right outside the hotel's front door and many restaurants are located within a short walking distance and offer a good variety of dinning options at affordable prices.

Great Value for the Money in Waikiki

The Hotel room was clean, hotel staff helpful, there was a nice view of the beach from the pool. Valet parking was nice to have but would like to have had regular free parking available. For the cost it was a great value and we could easily walk to the beach, the Zoo is across the street as is nice park and boardwalk. Trolley's and buses can get you around so easily tht you hardly need a car at all. Room had a microwave, frig, coffee maker. They are remodeling and getting WeFi over the next year throughout the hotel, At present it is only on the first 3 floors. There is a travel agent in the lobby that was very helpful and you can walk through the lobby to a convenience store without going outside.

GREAT LOCATION!!!!!

THE HOTEL LOCATION IS SIMPLY EXCELLENT. IT IS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING ONE CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE: SHOPPING, DINING, NIGHTLIFE, OCEAN, ZOO, AQUARIUM, BUS STOP. NOW IT'S CLEAR FOR ME THAT INSTEAD OF HAVING TWO OF MY PREVIOUS VACATIONS ON MAUI, I SHOULD HAVE COME HERE. EXPERIENCED PEOPLE TOLD ME THAT OAHU WAS TOO CROWDED, WHICH IS NOT THE CASE. IT IS CALLED CIVILIZATION.

Excellent location

My purpose of this trip was to go to the May Day concert at the Shell. The Park Shore was right across the street so we didn't have to deal with finding a parking spot. We checked into to the hotel and valet parking parked our car. Everything was in walking distance so we never neede to use our rental car while at the hotel. The room was spacious, we had a corner unit with a balcony. The bathroom was very big and the bedroom had a queen size bed, vanity table, 2 chairs and just enough hangers for the clothes we brought for an overnighter.

Waikiki Crossroads

Park Shore was a very good choice for us.THe room was not large but ample enough for two with a great deck. Location is right across the street from the beeach, zoo, park, and surrounded by shopping and restaurants. This is a great site for people watching but this comes with traffic noise and party music and sounds of bustling about. I plan on returning in a couple of months.

Great location, friendly staff

Shuttle from airport to the Hotel took 2 hours (recommend taxi-ing it for a few more $'s unless you are up to a Hotel scenic tour after a long flight). Hotel in a great location. Lanai Rooms are small but adequate for a short stay (1-4 days). Pool is a nice size, plenty of room and chairs available - lacks atmosphere tho, but then the beach is only across the road. Nice views from the pool and from the room of the mountains and the ocean. Overall, The Park Hotel was clean, friendly, excellent location and we will stay there again on our next wander of the Islands.

Lulu's next door makes the best breakfasts. Wonderful sunsets. Excellent Gold and Jewellery store 2 blocks from Hotel on main road. Zoo across the road is worth visiting. Take a leisurely morning walk to the left and go along the boardwalk and back thru the park. Beach across the road excellent for all ages.

Great View

The Park Shore was very comfortable, the view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head was fantastic. We only stayed overnight, but were pleased with the accomodations and friendly staff. The lady that checked us in even remembered me from a conversation I had upgrading the room three weeks prior to our arrival. The rooms show a little wear and tear, but I'd be happy to stay there again.
