Perfect location for a vacation in Oahu!

Initially, my fiance and I booked a condo in Honolulu for vacation. Things didn't turn out the way we expected.[...] I arrived to Park Shore and they haven't received confirmation of my booked room for a week. They were extremely friendly and offered the best customer service. I would definitely come back to Park Shore for my next Hawaii trip.

Location... Location... Location...

I love the location next to Queen Kapiolani Park. It provides a nice greenbelt to get away from the rest of Waikiki. It is nice to look out at Diamond Head and the ocean. Room was small, but I enjoyed spending time on the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice pool with lots of sun throughout the day.

Good Stay

The Hotel was quite good for the price and staff were very good. The only negative was the street noise that started early and went on till late at night. After 8 days we would have liked to have a later check-out as our room was not made up before 4:00PM daily. Tey allowed us until 2:00

WOW!

Not enough words to describe how great our stay was. The room was small, but we had so much to do we were never in it except to sleep. They upgraded to ocean view without request just because we booked a whole week. Staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. Very clean and comfortable. Beach was just across the street. We asked for 2 beds but only got one-said they did not get that on the reservation??. Still in all it was wonderful.

All We Had Hoped For!

Park Shore was great all around. This was our first trip to Oahu and we were a budget. If you are not looking for fancy rooms or room service this is a great hotel. The pickup for our tours was as the hotel next door. Our room was always clean, simple and very quiet. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. This the perfect hotel for anyone wanting to hangout at the beach, go shopping, take tours, etc... We will definitely stay there again!

Gordon Biersch is a super good restraunt and brewery that is tucked away in the Aloha Tower Marketplace at the end of the dock. Their rib appetizer is off the hook. There were too many foods and beers to choose from. [...]served us there and knew the best things to eat on the menu. We will definitly go back there again. Get ure parking validated there and its only 2 bucks to park all night.

Great for families on budget

Short walking distance from the beach, and surrounding stores, terrific views from the hotel room, very friendly staff especially from the car rental section, within the hotel, she helped us alot, when the pickup was late she apologized and called to find out what was going on. Ideal spot, centralized to everything and bus stop just outside the hotel. Reception staff, will work with you if you are unpleazed with your room, only if it is available and at a descent price upgrade. We upgraded to Oceanview and it was worth the price, especially waking up in the mornings to watch the sunset and sunrise from your own lanai(balcony)

Wonderful place to stay

First the location was wonderful. They have a wonderful sports bar attached and you can also walk through the hotel to the ABC store which was so convienient. Also a starbucks right outside the door, 2 doors down. Lots of places to eat & shop in area. We were right across from the beach & the zoo. We went to the art on the Zoo wall on Saturday morning. We walked to the aquarium just about 6 blocks away. The folks who worked there were also very nice. We loved our room! We walked a few blocks down & purchased trolley tickets, it was very enjoyable. We stopped @ the Aloha tower & watched a cruise ship come in. We also rode the trolley to the middle of Diamond Head Crater. There was also a laundermat only about 4 blocks from the hotel that we used while we were there. The staff was always helpful when we had needs or questions.

Perfect hotel for ANY vacation!

My parents stayed at the Park Shore Waikiki while visiting me in Hawaii. The hotel is absolutely wonderful... Perfectly friendly staff, INCREDIBLE location (directly across from the beach), and great amenities close by. There is a Starbucks downstairs and an awesome restaurant (especially for breakfast) which connects to the 2nd floor of the hotel called LuLu's Surf Club. The hotel is directly across from Kapiolani Park and the Honolulu Zoo and only a short walking distance to the Waikiki Aquarium. We reserved a Partial Ocean View room and after I called the hotel asking about an upgrade, they upgraded us to an Ocean View room free of charge! Tip: Don't pay extra for the Ocean Front rooms... The Ocean View rooms have an unobstructed view of the ocean, Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head Crater. Ocean Front only looks directly at the ocean. The hotel is tastefully designed with comfortable beds and a fridge in the rooms. Overall, this was a perfect experience for my parents and I am so grateful that we chose this hotel!
