Great Quiet Location for Waikiki,

It is outdated but was a great price for the location in Waikiki. The BAD part was the $20 a day parking. I think I would have preferred to pay a little more at a neighboring hotel without the outrageous parking fee. But, the location was perfect for the walking visitor with the zoo and beach directly across the street and Starbucks coffee right outside the door of the hotel entrance. I would stay here again just because of where it is at (but next time I wont rent the car). ;)

Good location

Problem with us is that there was no hotel owned parking space .They charged 20.00$ aday for the nearby parking space and it was taken care by the hotel staff. Other problem is they don't even provide morning coffee for free. No ironing facility. Room is somewhat small and less luxorious.Otherwise hotel is OK. Staff is friendly. Good thing is location.Across the street is the ocean and beach. And it's right on Waikiki center and good to stroll on the street.Night life is right there beside the hotel.

Great location

Loved the location, right across the street from the beach with acres of park to the east. Get the partial ocean view, well worth the extra money with a view of Diamond head and Waikiki beach. The rooms were small but very clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Would stay there again.

Nice Place to stay

The Park Shore was a very nice place to stay. It offered clean comfortable rooms, very helpful staff, and a nice restaurant on the third floor. We had a partial ocean view room that had great views of the beach from two different locations. The Park Shore did not offer any furniture in which to place your suit case on while staying there. This made it a little harder to keep your clothes in some kind of order. The only closet was in the tv unit and it was really too small to use. The hotel was close to everything including the Zoo, a huge shopping area and restaurants. If you wanted to go a distance away the bus picked up right outside the hotel entrance.

Great Location

This hotel is located in the heart of all the shops and places to party. Walking distance to everything! Great location for the price. A bit outdatde and the halls are quite dirty. The rooms are really tiny and the partial city view is that of the hotel next door! However, the hotel employees are nice, friendly, and helpful. You cannot beat the service and location of the hotel. Just be realistic that the amount you are paying has a price. Overall the service was fair for the price, it was safe and location was perfect!

very value friendly

The Parkshore was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Wasn't alot of amenities other than the pool, tour desks, couple of resturants and ABC store connected to the hotel. But than again didn't go there to stay in the hotel all day. If your looking for a great location to Waikiki Beach at a descent price, the place can't be beat, you are right across the street from the beach and the Zoo.There's a bus leaving from the corner of the hotel seems like every two minutes, so getting around was no problem.

Overlooking Waikiki

The view overlooking the Park Shore Waikiki was lovely; however, the room was small, and the entrance door was dirty, dirty. I was hesitant about entering, but the room was clean. Had a small refrig. and coffee maker. You could partially see the ocean. The pool on 3d floor was good for relaxing, water very cold. Their restaurant, LuLu's, served good, attractively served breakfast and delicious hamburgers. Restaurant was opened on 2 sides to look out to the ocean.

Yucky rooms but great breakfast

I found the room to be small, dirty and moldy smelling. The carpets in the hallway smelled too. But we found out that the restaurant attached to the hotel (managed by a different company) offered one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. We had dinner there one night also and that was pretty good too. But I would not stay there again.

GREAT LOCATION!!!!!

THE HOTEL LOCATION IS SIMPLY EXCELLENT. IT IS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING ONE CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE: SHOPPING, DINING, NIGHTLIFE, OCEAN, ZOO, AQUARIUM, BUS STOP. NOW IT'S CLEAR FOR ME THAT INSTEAD OF HAVING TWO OF MY PREVIOUS VACATIONS ON MAUI, I SHOULD HAVE COME HERE. EXPERIENCED PEOPLE TOLD ME THAT OAHU WAS TOO CROWDED, WHICH IS NOT THE CASE. IT IS CALLED CIVILIZATION.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

I WOULD RECOMMEND THE JAPANESE RESTAURANT ON THE FIRST FLOOR (LOBBY) AND THE AMERICAN RESTAURANT ADJACENT TO THE HOTEL. THEY SURVE ORGANIC SALADS!
