good value

Everything about this hotel is so-so average; best thing is the location (near Ala Moana shopping center & many other businesses & places to eat w/in walking distance). It appears management is in the process of improving the property & rooms; now offering shuttle service to Waikiki. The hotel is old & there is a definite musty-old smell we hope will disappear when improvements are made. We like staying here due to location & price paid: $153 for one-night & included two-days car rental. Additional cost $10 for parking per day & $10 resort fee.

You don't get what you look at on online

We reserved a hotel room that had a queen size bed in one room and 3 twins in the other when we got there we had 1 king bed and 2 twin had to call for a roll away. They put us accross the street in rooms that they have weekly and monthly rentals and not a good crowd. It was all outdated no wifi. They were in the middle of construction so they didn't care when they woke you. Would not stay here again.

A place to sleep near everything!

The hotel is like a "faded lady" in that you can see how beautiful it once was. It is in need of a make-over, and is clean and comfortable for sleeping.

great stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We always come here because it's location is next to everything. The only thing we would like to see changed are the beds. The beds were very springy and really hurt my back. Also...there were two of us and every time we come here, they are always out of rooms with queen size beds...so we have to share a full size...so maybe more rooms with queen size beds..all in all...we had a great time

Excellent location

This was our first stay at The Pagoda, but my parents and brother always stay here because of it's location. It is across the street from Wal-Mart and a 5 minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center as well as numerous restaurants and eateries, all withing walking distance. I have to admit I was apprehensive because the hotel is old, but it was clean and had no pest problem. I've stayed in newer hotels and found lots of bugs and roaches in the rooms. It was very nice having the option of not driving in downtown traffic because we could just walk to eat any cuisine we wanted and do all the shopping we needed to.
