Pacific Marina Inn Airport Hotel

It works for convenience factor of getting out fo the city without any traffic

Poor. We were put in a smoking room. I didn't know those were still around. We were unable to change rooms. Wifi is only in the lobby. The room was VERY small. The room was dirty and there was a cigarette burn on the sheets. There were ants in our room. The phone was filthy. I would never stay here again especially for the rate that was charged. We were so put off by the room that we went out and hung out at a Coffee Shop until they closed. Finally we came back and only slept in this pit of a room, before finally leaving.

The hotel in an "industrial area", is dated, and isn't well maintained. The room was small, undecorated, with few amenities, and the AC was very old and loud. The bed was "bare bones", and uncomfortable.. All that being said, we needed a place close to the airport and in that regard, it fit the bill.

The staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful. Our every request was met in a timely and friendly manner. Went to the lounge locatedin the property and had a wonderful evening. Great place to stay if you have a layover in Honolulu. Merely a short 5 minute ride to the airport.

The hotel restaurant was closed for repairs/revovation (?). I don't konw but I understand that is necessary at any facility over a period of time. What I don't understand is the hotel's refusal to help guests find a replacement resuaurant . I am a diabetic and need to have food on a regular basis. This hotel is located in a light industrial area where restaurants are few and far between. The hotel staff offered no help Since I had no car I was told I would have to walk or call a cab to get to a restaurant with no specific receommendation as to where i should go. I ended up walking. conconsderable

it was OK except that there is no elevator and i had to carry both my heavy suitcases upstairs on steps. rooms are small. free shuttle bus and the male driver was friendly. you can see the airport and you can also hear them. free wifi and a nice small pool for a swim. overall it was for a stopover.

Too noisy. There is no sound proof. The top door is not completely closed. You can hear people talking out side

Stayed overnight on way to medical appointment. Very clean, quiet, easy check in, accommodating of my time frame, restaurant on premises.

I did enjoy the beginning of the week where parking was available and it was free. Internet was free and worked very well. They have an awesome restaurant downstairs called "Lance's Kitchen" and it was good food. Had some local favorites and some others for those that don't have the opportunity to explore farther than the hotel. Things that could've improved: Housekeeping didn't return tag that says , "Do not disturb". The housekeeper took it after my second day in and didn't return it to me. When I requested for a new one, I still didn't get one, so that was a lost cause... Another thing is that the housekeeper for the floor I had the room on, I had to go search for her to get another towel. They don't have spare towels for anyone to get in the front or in a centralized place... Parking was absolutely ridiculous!!! It was free, but if no parking was available, we had to park next door and re-park our vehicles in the hotel lot by 2am on Fridays & 6am on Saturdays... Who wants to wake up that early to move their cars and then go back sleep?? I wouldn't!!

Well, the karaoke bar next door was a noisy surprise. My biggest problem was that, although they offer shuttle service, the shuttle passed us (waving wildly) and then circled around to park pretty far from us - and I was in a wheelchair. My partner had to go look for her. On the other hand, the same woman brought her car around so that I wouldn't have to crawl into the shuttle van the next morning to get to the airport.
