best trip
this was my first time staying here, so i didnt know what to expect, but from when i saw hotel as i was walking up to it and then walked in side it was very cool and you cant get a better place to stayif you like being close to the beach i will come back here as much as i can with my family, thank you for making my trip very enjoyable

Parking charge $60 for real????
Everything except the outrages parking charge was good. Be prepared to lay down some of your fun money just to park and then walk with all your stuff.

Good Location, Decent price, but not too clean
We stayed at this Hotel for 5 nights and it was okay. Nothing special. We got a room at the 15th floor and had a decent view to the beach but that was it. One thing I didn't care for at all were the dirty dishes left for days in the hallway right outside the rooms. The carpet in the our room was not clean. I wouldn't stay here again, I would rather check out what other hotels have to offer.

Great beach location
Located in the heat of Waikiki, across the street from the beach and within walking distance of the bus/trolley stop, shopping and restaurants, we were very happy with the location. The standard room was average. It had a balcony and refrigerator. Would have been nice if it had two sinks in the bathroom. We would have had to pay $3 per day to use the safe.

The Hilo Hattie's shuttle is free. It doesn't come as frequently as the others but it will take you from Waikiki to their store (souvenir store) and will drop you off anywhere you want in between.

Great Value & Location
Great value and a fantastic location. Clean and quiet. Had trouble with the tub drain but dealt with it myself and told the staff upon leaving.

Good vacation
The hotel is across the beach and very near of Zoo, aquarium and shopping center. We spent a good time here the room only has a coffee maker and small fridge , but would be perfect to have a microwave .

Bare Minimum, No Frills
Bottom line, we got a good deal so we stayed here. Price would be our only enticement to stay here again. Pros: great location Cons: rock hard beds, fickle shower temperature, small pool, no free gym access and friendly but somewhat clueless staff. Not the end of the world, since it served as a place to rinse off and rest up.

Long walk from hotel
Start early in the morning on your hike to Diamond Head - from hotel door to door it's a 5mi hike and well worth it, but can get awfully crowded and hot after 9am. Bring a small flashlight and when you get out of the tunnel TURN LEFT!

Stress relief needed
Fantastic family vacation
our hotel experience could not be better the hotel was centrally located everything was within walking distance. The rooms were very clean as well as the rest of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If I were to return to Hawaii I would stay at this hotel again.
