Outrigger Reef on the Beach Rooms
- Moderate
- The Moderate rooms have no view and all rooms do not have lanais. These rooms are 340 sq. ft. Each room has a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, mini-refrigerator, & coffee maker. The bedding is on a request basis only and is as follows: One king bed, or two double beds.
- Ocean Front
- Oceanfront rooms feature one king or two double beds with one double sleeper sofa. Roooms are 405 sq.ft.
- Ocean View
- The Ocean View room has a beautiful view of the ocean. These rooms are 340 sq. ft. The bedding is on a request basis only and is as follows: One king bed, or two double beds. Each room has hair dryers, iron and ironing board, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and lanai.
- One Bedroom Ocean Front
- One bedroom Ocean Front rooms have one king bed, and one sofa sleeper. Rooms are 1008 sq. ft, and have two bathrooms, jacuzzi tub and shower.
- Partial Ocean View
- Partial Ocean View rooms have one king bed, or two doubles with one sofa sleeper. Rooms are 355 sq.ft.
- City View
- The City View room has a spectacular view of the city or low pool view from the lanai. These rooms are 350 sq. ft. Excellent service and location
This hotel has the best location in Honolulu. The restaurants are right on the beach and the convenience to other locations is unbeatable. The customer service was above standard - from the front desk to the housekeeping. The hotel has recently been renovated and my room was brand new (even the linens were new). The hotel offers a catamaran ride that was one of the best times I've ever had (and they offer a 1/3 discount to returning passengers). If given the choice, I would not stay anywhere else in Hawaii.

Great Rooms & Location
Our recently-renovated room at Outrigger Reef on the Beach was absolutely beautiful! The beds were so comfortable I almost didn't want to go anywhere! We had a great partial view of the ocean from our balcony, and of course you couldn't beat the fact that the hotel is right at the beach. The restaurant and bar were fantastic with good food, good music and, again, the great view being right on the beach. The pool is also wonderful, and there are two semi-secluded hot tubs that were very relaxing. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They delivered anything I needed immediately, and we did check-in in the room, which was great. Free long distance and high speed internet - can't beat that. We even used the laundry facilities (washers/dryers) that were there. The last day we went the spa, which was, again, fantastic. Try the lomi lomi massage! We also used the activities desk to set up our trip to Germain's Luau, which was tons of fun and we got a discount through the hotel! Oh, and tons of shopping and restaurants are just outside the door. Our stay at Outrigger Reef on the Beach was hands down fabulous!

Brand New
We were the first ones to stay in our room in the newly renovated Ocean Tower. Right now there is a lot of construction going on in the hotel as they completely renovate it but the results are well worth it. The room was gorgeous and spacious; the beach was only an elevator ride away. It was spectacular. We ate at the Shorebird restaurant/bar both as an evening snack and for brunch in the morning. We were, sadly, quite disappointed in breakfast. It was a very lackluster buffet and completely overpriced. Nonetheless, as an evening bar it was exactly what it should be: a place to relax overlooking the beach. Our advice is to have a couple drinks there at night and eat somewhere else in the morning. All in all this hotel stay was very positive. We'd happily stay there again.

Vacation getaway
This hotel experience was great! I really recommend it highly. The location was great; shopping and the beach just steps away. The staff was friendly and helpful, the partial ocean-view room was lovely and the on site restaurant wonderful with a perfect ocean view. We had a great time. I would recommend it to anyone seeking an island vacation, no hassles.

Great value on the beach
The Outrigger Reef on the Beach was a great value! Although it's on the beach, it's at the far end of Waikiki Beach and not conveniently connected. The rooms were newly renovated and so it was very comfortable and clean with all of the necessary amenities. Staff were excellent. The Ocean House restaurant was pricey for mediocre food and service, but the Shore Bird restaurant had great food, service, and entertainment. I'm not sure if it's only because they're currently renovating that the only option for parking is valet but that was inconvenient at times. Renovations did not cause any problems or noise for us. The business center charges for internet use.

Our Honeymoon in the Outrigger
Everything was Fantastic, from check in to check out. The activities desk was a great help to us when booking a tour of the island. Can't wait to go back when all the remodeling is complete. It was kinda loud and annoying when entering or exiting the hotel during the day.

Great Service All Around
During a recent girls trip, we stayed at the Outrigger Reef. The service was unbelievable. The concierge was exceptionally knowledgeable. Even the valet was able to recommend a great local restaurant for dinner. There was construction going on, however, it could only be heard when we were down at the pool. Even then it was not too bothersome.

Great overall get-a-way
This OutRigger Reef Hotel was the the most wonderful experience that I could ever expect. I would wholehardily recommend this Hotel for any traveler, or even for someone who wishes for a memorable weekend. Room was large and roomy. Closets were large and were able to accomodate separte hanging for both husband and wife. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub just below my room and the balcony which I could sit on and overlook the pool area. The resteraunt was fabulous. The chef needs to ne commended. All of the waiters were the best. They were so friendly and talk about memories. You said your name once and from then on they greeted you as you wished to be greeted. Shopping was within walking distance, even for those of us with handicapes.

Our honeymoon stay
The Outrigger Reef on the Beach was a beautiful experience for our honeymoon. The courteous manner in which we were checked in and treated with utmost respect was really a nice thing. The Bell hop gave us great stories along with tips on everything around to do and places to eat. Our room was awesome! They had a bottle of champage waiting for us too! We had a long delay at the airport and I had called to let them know we would be late coming in - and they upgraded our room for free!!! I will definately be going back again!
