Outrigger Reef on the Beach Rooms
- Moderate
- The Moderate rooms have no view and all rooms do not have lanais. These rooms are 340 sq. ft. Each room has a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, mini-refrigerator, & coffee maker. The bedding is on a request basis only and is as follows: One king bed, or two double beds.
- Ocean Front
- Oceanfront rooms feature one king or two double beds with one double sleeper sofa. Roooms are 405 sq.ft.
- Ocean View
- The Ocean View room has a beautiful view of the ocean. These rooms are 340 sq. ft. The bedding is on a request basis only and is as follows: One king bed, or two double beds. Each room has hair dryers, iron and ironing board, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and lanai.
- One Bedroom Ocean Front
- One bedroom Ocean Front rooms have one king bed, and one sofa sleeper. Rooms are 1008 sq. ft, and have two bathrooms, jacuzzi tub and shower.
- Partial Ocean View
- Partial Ocean View rooms have one king bed, or two doubles with one sofa sleeper. Rooms are 355 sq.ft.
- City View
- The City View room has a spectacular view of the city or low pool view from the lanai. These rooms are 350 sq. ft. Paradise waiting for you
The staff were extreamly welcoming and helpful, nothing was a problem for them. The trips available through the hotel are great and are fully arranged for you whislt there or prior to arrival. The restaurants within the hotel provided fantastic food and service especially the Ocean House restaurant. The sunset dinner is an absolute must. Love the fact that you step out of the hotel straight onto the beach. Local shops and main shopping strip are nearby. I would definately recommend this hotel to others looking to travel to Waikiki and would happily return. A truly wonderful experience.

Close to beach
The AC unit is loud as mentioned by other reviewers. The location is great - close to shopping, eateries and the beach (no crossing the street to get to it). The reservation said we get complimentary breakfast, but the hotel said no. Overall, it was a great hotel.

Great Place To Stay
The Outrigger Reef is located in an area that is convenient to most of the downtown attractions. Getting to and from the airport was a breeze. The beach is located right outside the back enttrance to the hotel. There is plenty of shopping and dining venues right outside the front entrance. We have stayed here before they did their renovations and liked it a lot, now after the upgrades to the property, it is really fantastic. Rooms were nicely deocorated, clean and quiet. Couldn't ask for more.

ABC store down the street has a deli in the back that makes fresh salads, sandwiches and other foods. Very convenient if you want to eat something more substantial than snacks but don't want a full restaurant meal.

The rooms are on the small side but beautifully renovated. They use the space well, and the rooms are very well maintained. Staff is universally friendly and accomodating. Will return.

outrigger reef on the beach
great place to stay, right in the middle of waikiki and walking distance from anythign and everything you need. if you have a car though valet parking is pricey because there is not parking anywhere close.

Short drive from hotel
if you are going to leave waikiki, do so before lunch and come back after 5-6, traffic on the H1 caomes to a stand still for a few hours ( 3-6)
