I really liked the location. The room was quite spacious and the kitchenette was very convenient if I did not want to go out for meals. The pool is very nice to relax and swim. Enjoyed my stay and would come again. This was my second time at this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay.
First the picture you have is of Ohana East not West the sister hotel and I have stayed there as well. At the West I was by myself. I had a small room but it fit me perfectly. The shower is to fit one person but the water pressure was great and the water was hot if I wanted. I found nothing wrong with this hotel. I will definitely stay here again. There is a Chili’s down stairs and a Cowboy night club. The Cabanas bar at the pool was fun and everyone was friendly. I'm 59 and enjoyed myself. The Market place is across the street. You are one block from the beachfront hotels. I walked straight through the market place and across the next street and I’m at Duke’s in the outrigger. If you want to save money stay here. Otherwise the outrigger is a great place for 190.00 a night and up.

Fantastic family getaway
We were very pleased with the 15 minute free long distance phone calls, free safe, free daily newspaper, and the free pink shuttle which takes you to the Ala Moana shopping mall. We were pleasantly surprised when at the pool bar on Thanksgiving day we were offered a free full Turkey dinner buffet (optional $5.00 donation for a good charitable cause). The location was excellent, a couple blocks to the beach and around some great restaurants and Starbucks. Two complaints, the noise from the bar on weekends was excessive and the elevators did not level properly. We would stay here again, if the amenities stayed the same.

Wolfgang's Steakhouse offers half price drinks and half price appetizers between 4:00 and 6:30 at the bar. Inexpensive Korean BBQ across from the Pacific Monarch hotel- offering large plates of food for $10.00- delicious food.

Great location.
I stayed here for seven nights in October, which is a busy season I understand. Front desk man was very friendly when I checked in and explained all the amenities to me. The room was clean and cleaned well daily. I had a kitchenette and the staff made sure I had extra coffee and clean towels for the kitchen as well as the bathroom. The location was great-right on The Bus line, Trolley's and other public transportation. Everyone was friendly and not overbearing. I had a wonderful stay and would definately go back to this hotel!

Congierge in lobby was very informational without being pushy. (Except for the Wyndham representative next to the Outrigger Rep). She gave me information on tours or directions without pushing her services.

Waikiki Ohana West
Hotel is fair for the price. Old but functioning. The provided internet service was VERY slow in the room. Parking was expensive ($20 per night) Ice machines on the even floors only. SLOW elevators

Market is right next to the hotel. Not the best price, but better then others. Stop by before your outings to get your snacks and drinks before your trips.

The location of the hotel is excellent,
The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the heart of the action and not far from the beach. This is a budget hotel, a little tired and in need of refurbishing. However, for the price it is a great place to stay. We had a kitchenette which gave us the opportunity to cook a meal instead of always eating out. There is a fully staffed tourist booking desk located in the lobby.

Fair
We stayed here Oct 2010 for three nights four days. We had a decent view. Room was very very spacious. The only thing I didn't like was the bath tub. It would clog up and when taking a shower the water wouldn't go down. Over all I loved it here. House keeping was great. Lots of stores close by and chili's was right under us. Parking is a pain in the butt though.
