Awesome hotel
This hotel was very close to everything. Right next to the market place, and the best places to eat. Pool is cold, and not much action. Pool bar pretty dead. But there are so many great bars and clubs within 1 block it did not matter.

Great location for the price!
Almost everything was great! The breakfast was NOT worth the $20, but having it available every morning as a buffet was worth it. The food was good - interesting to have rice and miso soup as an option. The front desk, bell and room service staff were all very helpful and friendly. The travel consultant though was NOT friendly and wasn't very helpful and her attitude sucked! I would suggest having stuff booked before hand. The location is awesome! It takes about 5 mintutes to walk to Waikiki beach and only about 15 to walk to the Zoo. The Bell service is great for directions too.

There is this buffet restaurant across the street (lights in the trees). I think it is called "Peggy's Smorgey"?? It is AWESOME! And cheap! The dinner was $12 and all-you-can-eat! Absolutely great!

Good price for the location...Clean
The location was great for the price. Only 2 blocks walk to the beach, plenty of food places to choose from. Right next to the international shopping market. Major bus lines across the street. Overall, a clean, comfortable room with great location! I would recommend this for those vacationing on a budget.

Miramar is centrally located
Miramar is centrally located in Waikiki about two blocks from Waikiki Beach. It is next to International Market. The hotel room needs upgrade but clean.

Great value!
Loved the location. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. The rooms were kept very clean. The people in the hotel were very nice. We found restaurants close by that were great, such as Keoni's and Perry's Smorgee for breakfast. We would stay here again.

Always look around to compare prices of something that you want to buy. Make an offer, usually you can get it cheaper. I went to the swap meet at the stadium but I found I could get things just as cheap at the international market.

hopelessly romantic
Nice stay for the money
We had a broken shower head. We called front desk and they came in very timely fashion and replaced shower head. They were all very courteous and we enjoyed our stay. The balcony with partial ocean view was our favorite part!! Very romantic! Plus within short walking distance to beach!

somewhat ok
it's a great location for the international market and strip. Staff is friendly. But when we first got to our room, room feld like they need new paint on walls, but it was very clean. Would have liked it better if the pool was warmer, it was like jumping into the Iliamna lake, very cold. But we had no kitchen, if you are going to be staying for 10 day or longer, NEED kitchen.

A very nice hotel considering
A very nice hotel considering its price and location. The staffs are really friendly, definitely recommend this hotel to colleagues, really worth it. Some flaws here and there, nevertheless owing to its price - no way to complaint.... cheers.

Our stay at Miramar at Waikiki
We went on several of the Polynesian Adventure Tours, we found them to be excellent, very informative and fun. We rode the public bus & did some snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. Hiked Diamond Head Crater. Our visit was enjoyable, fun and relaxing at the same time. The only thing that would have made out trip more enjoyable was an Hotel that was clean and a little more Quiet at three in the morning. We would NOT recomend the Miramar.

The Cheesefactory was great, close good food and reasonable. Denny's was a clean and inexpensive place; connected to the Hotel Miramar.
