Inhale that quintessentially Waikiki Beach scent of island flowers at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa, where the Hawaiian high-rise meets the infinite horizons of the Pacific Ocean. Fountains spill from above into the freshwater swimming pool, tropical facials and head-to-toe massages are offered at the Na Ho'ola Spa, and chef's specialty menus are available for selective palates at the on-site restaurants. Relaxation Station

We got an amazing room when we booked the "deluxe ocean view" upgrade on this site. Just gorgeous sweeping views of the ocean, Kalakaua Ave and a glimpse of city and the mountains behind Honolulu. Steps from the beach and restaurants, I would definitely reccommend the Hyatt and plan to stay here again in the future.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

You may think 11 dollars for a breakfast buffet at Jimmy Buffet's sounds like a steal of a deal, but dont be fooled! You get what you pay for... which isnt much in this case! haha

Amazing service and hospitalities

We stayed 6 nights at Hyatt Regency Wikiki beach in August. Although there was one shocker that swimming pool in the hotel is under renovation at the moment, its very close to the beach (maybe like 1 min walk) and enjoyed it very much. One of my friend lost her passport on the last night during our stay while she was shopping around wikiki area. Matt from the Guest Service Agent really helped us out a lot for getting the tentative passport from the local consulate as well as changing the flight going back to Japan. Thank you so much Matt, you made our day!

Vacations with friends

The hotel room was really nice and clean. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they didn't let me know that they were doing construction. It was very noisy in the mornings, AND most importantly they didn't have a pool because they were remodeling it. They offer to use another hotel's pool that was about seven or eight blocks away; which was not convinient at all! Overall, my vacation was good but if the hotel had a pool and less noisy it would had been perfect!

Dining tip: In Hotel

A couple of restaurants inside hotel but pricy. Next to the hotel there is a sushi place which is very good for a good price.

Fun trip with friends

The Hyatt was amazing! I've stayed at several places on the island and this was one of the best experiences. The location is perfect and if you are into the night life this hotel is perfect for you! The only downfall; they just closed the pool for renovations for the rest of the summer, but it looks like they will only make it better. The beach is right across the street so need for the pool isn't necessary. I would recommend it to anyone!

Great experience

I was very pleased with the Hyatt and my room. Although just across the street from the beach, this hotel was essentially on the beach and very convenient to everything. The rooms are not huge, but plenty comfortable. Although I opted for the less expensive "city view", at the time of check-in I requested a room on a high level with a good view and got one on the 33rd floor with partial city and partial ocean view. Small patio was delightful for "hanging out" and reading. I was not impressed with the brunch in the hotel dining room, but there are plenty other places in the area.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Right across the road on the beach - surfing lessons (I was a neophyte). Go early in the morning, don't bother with private or semi-private lessons - group lessons fine.
