Nice and Clean
It was really nice...relaxing...great food...service. Only problem was that the elevators took forever.

First Time in Waikiki
Good location, good price
We used this hotel as a base to explore most of the island. This worked well since most tours originate from Waikiki. This hotel hosts the Magic of Polynesia show, and it is a good show. Close to the beach and The Cheesecake Factory is right across the street.

The beach is very crowded until around 5:30 in the afternoon. The sun is very intense during the day. We waited until after 5:30 to hit the beach to avoid sunburn and crowds. The sunset is very nice too! Lots of party goers in Waikiki.

Hawaii Trip 2
The hotel is in a great location for all activities. The only draw back is none of the tours leave from this hotel which means having to find other locations for pick and return. The security is excellant and staff was very friendly and helpful.

If you are making plans for tours, check with tour operator on where the hotal pickup is, especailly if traveling alone and have to walk in unfamilar street at night.

Perfect place to stay

Ohana Beachcomber - NICE!
Great hotel - prime central location, walking distance to everything. Good layout. Hotel upgraded our room from basic to partial sea-view on the 19th floor. Accommodated a request of mine to leave a note on our pillow upon arrival. Very good suite and standard amenities. Will go back.

Do not get a package deal like the GO OAHU card or anything offered on the street. Rather, decide what you want to do and go there yourself. The public bus is EASY AND CHEAP. Shuttles cost more and limit your independence. Rent mopeds (also quite cheap) to ride towards Diamond Head, Kahala, or Hanauma Bay.

In the heart of Waikiki
I found the hotel staff very friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and well decorated. I really enjoy being in the thick of the action and this hotel is there. One block to the beach, the International Market Place is just downstairs and there are good restaurants nearby.This was my second stay here and I will go back when I go next.

Just downstairs on the street you are among the interesting night time showmen that line the streets. A cheap evening of fun just strolling along.

I would stay there again.
The rooms were very clean. People were very friendly. Couldn't really see the beach from our room but it was nearby and easily accessible. Our balcony overlooked the roof and A/C units of the building next door so didn't sleep with the door open or use it as much as we might have had it been quieter.

Great location
Great location! In the center of everything so walking distance to many activities within Waikiki Beach. Right across the street from Royal Hawaiin. Had a car so drove many place & staff always helpful & friendly. Only regret was thought we would be on a higher level floor but our room was quiet & restful. Would recommend maybe try a higher level next time.
