Waikiki beachfront wonderland that's perfect for the family
Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa is Waikiki's only true resort destination, with 22 oceanfront acres offering the perfect mix of exceptional resort accommodations and classic Hawaiian hospitality. Sink into the widest stretch of white sand in Waikiki: a serene beachfront lagoon, lush tropical gardens with exotic wildlife and cascading waterfalls, majestic views of Diamond Head and stunning sunsets -- plus more than 20 restaurants and lounges, 90 shops, a spa and much more.
Highlights
- Marvel at the beachfront Paradise Pool, surrounded by exotic plants and birds, or wade in a real oceanfront lagoon
- Poolside Polynesian revue and free beachfront fireworks show every Friday night
- Connect kids with Camp Penguin, offering on-property activities and offsite adventures
Location
The resort spreads out along the western edge of Waikiki beach, where the sand is widest and the water shallow and safe for kids. Take the beachfront boardwalk to the U.S. Army Museum, a few minutes away, or walk another few minutes to the heart of Waikiki. In the other direction, Hawaii's largest shopping center, Ala Moana, is an easy 15-minute stroll.
Rooms
Five graceful towers ring the resort with a total of nearly 3,000 rooms and plenty of city, mountain and ocean views. Each tower is unique, but all feature bright, contemporary rooms with private balcony, Hilton Serenity Collection Bed and Bedding, Wi-Fi (fees apply), television enabled for various entertainment modes, and refrigerator. Select towers feature their own swimming pools and sundecks.Dining
Choose from 20 dining and bar options. Tropics Bar & Grill is one of Waikiki's best new beachfront hangouts, with fresh Island dishes, live musicians and sinful sunset views. Lappert's offers Hawaii's best ice cream (must-try flavor: Kauai Pie). The Waikiki Starlight Luau is an all-evening adventure held under the stars.

- Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon, a 5-acre saltwater lagoon

My favorite place in Hawaii
We have been coming to the HILTON HAWAIIAN VILLAGE HOTEL for four times a year for 10 years because he is the Director of a Dentists study group that meets in Honolulu. The staff is the very best. Everyone is truly showing us the Aloha Spirit which really exists in Hawaii. We have brought our entire family of 18 persons 3 times because we love the place so much. It is a great Family place.

Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa
We were worried that it would be too big & impersonal but we were wrong. Everything was great and our needs were met before expressed. Very hospitable staff. Great experience. Always something fun to do. We were there during probowl & enjoyed seeing the players & cheerleaders at the hotel.

Fantastic View, Comfortable Room
This hotel is very big and very busy, yet the staff was helpful, courteous, caring and unobtrusive. It was amazing that the maid service noticed when we used supplies faster than anticipated and made adjustments, i.e., we ran out of bath towels the first day and extra towels were put in our room from then on. The room was large, the bed comfy, and we were at the end of the hallway so the room was quiet. The ocean view was fantastic. Though the facility offers anything needed for your stay, it is a bit costly to eat in the on site restaurants, but for the most part the convenience somewhat outweighed the added expense and the restaurants we tried were very good. The Hilton Village is located close to everything, most shopping is within walking distance and the public transportation system throughout the city is very efficient.

Pretty But Lacking in Detail
Beautiful view. Wonderful valet. Felt discrimination at service desks. Check in was fast; polite; helpful. Room had a broken door and coffee pot had left over coffee and empty wrappers. Room service absolutely fantastic one night and poor the next night.

why would you want to stay here!
Poor desk service. No room service. Food vendors that you were expected to buy from had meals of cardboard. Breakfast buffet was cold. Poor waiter service. I'll never stay here again.

Last one night stop in Hawaii.
My husband and I thought that we have made a big mistake to take this Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki as this village would be crazy busy just like Waikoloa Hilton. However, this Waikiki Hilton Village was good. Each towers were organized in a way and room was ok & comfortable.Quieter and peaceful than Waikoloa. It became a good treat for our last day of the vacation. We do not mind coming back to Waikiki Hilton Hawaiian Village at all. Everything was decent!!
